These two factors both need to be there to make it a suitable car for real world harsh conditions where the environment is your enemy. Only a few brands like Nissan and Toyota with their Patrols and Land Cruisers are dominating the market. I think that says enough. The Land rover should be fine in Europe but I would not want to be relying on it anywhere else.
