If you were to strectch the pvc that much it would deform it and have a high risk of cracking after it cools down.....plus good luck streching the pvc that much to begin with
why not ..idk run wider pvc? and the tire portion is for suspension..if not triad wheels r like 50$ and dont require a lathe...who ruins go kart wheels to make hard plastic wheels?
And then the pvc eventually wears out while you're drifting and you grind down the rim really bad... Just get go kart wheels and put the pvc on them instead :)
Jed Haig I was giving an alternative to the Kart wheels. You should check out your drift trike before each run. If you do, you will catch the pvc wearing. Even if you don't, I don't think the rims will grind down that bad. You would just spin out and stop.
I was at HomeDepot and they didn't have any. There are two pipe suppliers near me, but you have to buy a 20' section. Also this was my first try at making the wheel and didn't know if it would work.
yeah, that's what I run on my trike. It's just some 8 inch water main piping that I got for free from some guys working at my high school on the sewage and water mains (how about dat shit?)
I don't use go kart wheels though, I just use hand truck wheels from harbor freight with some cheng shin tires that i got for 5 bucks a piece with the wheels ( but I couldn't use the wheels
There are so many options to choose from. 5", 6" diameter, 4 to 10 inches wide. Plus you need the wheel hubs too. Best thing is to search "Racing Kart Wheels"
deluxe autos If your talking about the Huffy Slider, no the wheels will not fit. That is why I built a new rear end. If you have a custom drift trike from Modernline, Flatout, or Trike Daddy drift trikes, yes the wheels will fit the 5/8 inch axle.
