there’s a certain month that stripers would feast themselves on mudsuckers especially from september-november n after that would be grass shrimps, ghost shrimps, mudshrimps n around late march would be pile worms n bloodworms.., depending where in the delta waters ur fishing at
Great info video yeah we see him in our stomping grounds most guildes are tools but this guy gets much respect from us far as im concerned no one better !
Indeed Capt. Jay is truly versed in all the good fishing the Delta has to offer. Fun guy to hang out with, too. I would love to shoot a video about you guys - I think it would make for a great story and good way to support what you guys do out there, which I think is the best Delta vlog on youtube!
@@YOURBACKYARDFISHNVIDEOS I totally beg to differ - you guys are awesome! And have a great history with the Delta. Just thought it would be nice and collaborative thing that would be fun! But all good my YBFV friends your edits stand alone and are great!
Need to do this up in your neck of the woods one day. Looks like your fishing these during my off season? Hopefully come up in 2020 and make it happen with you avid pro anglers. Nice video as always Tomo, keep it riding!!
Brother Kerry - you have a standing invitation to come fish w/us, anytime. Sept/Oct/ November and Feb/March are what I'd consider prime time for delta stripers. Like when we visit you - just show up and all is taken care of. Would be very happy to get you on our boat and show you the amazing California Delta. It's not the gulf of chiriqui, but it does have its own special feel and flavor!
