HSS Drill bit : Can be used for soft metal and wood
Brad point Drill bit : Only wood and softer materials
Countersink Bits : Wood or depending on the drill bits rating. Helps to hide screws away.
Pilot Drill + Countersink Bit : Wood and softer materials ( combination of a drill bit and a countersink bit )
Spade Bit : Use with wood, when boring wood do it in stages. It’s very easy to overheat the drill.
Forstner Bit : Use with wood ( depends on the bit material) - helps with recessing things
Vix Bit : Use with hinges or lining up center point of a hole
SDS Bits : Suits a SDS + Drill /Hammer Drill. Use on Masonary + Concrete
