@@markaustinsickbasshead274 using a steel wire from a beach tent by hammering one side flat than cut a triangle onto the flat area this works fine as a temporary homemade concrete drilling bit because it's inexpensive and it's homemade and if it breaks who cares? It's always expandable
@@Kitopa I mean u can drill glass I heard somewhere that ur supposed to drill it underwater in order to get a clean hole without breaking the glass but I never actually tested this myself really
The “metal” bit is general purpose so it can be used for Plastic (PVC), Metal and Wood … there’s also spade bits and other similar bits that are specifically for Wood. It hardly makes a difference tbh. I’ve been a general contractor for 5yrs now and used the “metal bits” for wood/metal/pvc related crap and I’ve had no issues. But as I said before, there’s specific bits for a specific purpose like the Masonry/Cement Bit
This is the most important clip that ever exist and will be needful for the human beeing till the end of the world. I will prefer it fot the Guinness World records
Just learned we're actually supposed to run the drill at much slower speeds with more force to drill through metal. High speed damages the bit by overheating.
I just used a mason bit in the wall, made a huge difference, thank you! Didn’t do anything for drilling into the shelf I put up so ordered some wooden bits
If you buy a small diamond hole saw. And put something like play-dol around where you wanted the hole . Put water in that ring to keep the hole saw cool. This will give a nice clean hole . Just don't push hard. Good luck.
As a pro DIYer, I would not drill metal at high speed because it will dull out the bit and the heat emitted will harden the metal more which will make it harder to drill. For the concrete bit I would use a hammer drill
Asshatinlexx, not true. All bits can be sharpened here. The TiN gold coating does very little for drill bits on the homeowner level. The only thing that cannot be sharpened is your’re. Intelligence or lack there of. Pay attention or pay cash.
Bro i love your videos because there are none like yours in youtube to for simple and easy thinks that most of as know how to do them but still you explain for others! Keep the good work and dont mind the haters!:) Your friend Kostas!:)
So wither that’s one hell of a concrete drill bit and drill to drill so easily into concrete without using hammer drill, or dude fooled us and was Drilling into play dough
So the difference is the colors? Or am I missing something sorry yall I’m a little confused cuz I pulled out a few drill bits & most look silver/grey, but I’m needing to drill into wood, could I just use any one of them, or should I go get a dark grey one for wood?
First one is actually bi metal good for metal and wood second is wood the third is a masonary bit. If you are gonna try actually get it right. Wtf is a concrete drill bit
