Just ran across this video today. The air tool holder is a great idea, so simple as well. I use Plexiglas in a similar way. I use it as a door on me sandpaper storage to keep the sheets dust free. To me the hanging of the drills upside down is the best part. I have put off building a cabinet for my cordless tools because all of the ones I have seen show the tools hanging top up. This puts all of the weight of the tool on the forward/reverse switch. I don't know why I never thought of hanging them upside down. Thanks for the great ideas.

Great idea. I took up woodworking about 3 yrs ago to help cope with PTSD. I love it, great hobby and you get tangible results, u like with video games. I've had to do alot of work on my 95 F150 the past 2 months. So I had to clear out alot of space to get my truck in my garage. So after I finished working on the truck I decided to rearrange my shop for more room. Built some overhead storage like Jay Bates. Today I'm building a cabinet kind of like yours. I really like the air tool hanger idea. I think I'll epoxy some nuts in there, then screw in the coupler, just so they don't come lose over time if I just threaded them into the wood. *And the best part is my 6 yo daughter helped me to remove everything from the shop, and today she's helping me build the cabinet w/ drill & nailer storage. That's the best part, even if it slows me down. I know you know the feeling. Thanks for everything

Love this book! ru-vid.comUgkxpCNxqmAkyjN6NPx1fyB7QiEFWyO5mUWL it is simply one-of-a-kind! I really love it, because karah explained all tools required to have the job done, not mentioning the fabulous diy pallets ideas. I'm pretty sure this will be a fresh start in my new endeavour. Amazon was great, they delivered on time. Thank you!

Nice work, I like the air chuck tool holders and the dust free storage section. I just happen to have some 1/4 acrylic laying around so i may incorporate that into my upcoming build. It's funny because I've been watching all the drill cabinet videos (just watched Jay's for instance) but yours is the first one that also included air tool storage, which makes a lot of sense but I had not thought of it. I'll have to incorporate a few extra slots for the inevitable future nailer purchases!

I see the majority of the big woodworking youtube guys constantly using this birch plywood which I assume is baltic birch. Is everyone really paying 80 dollars per sheet of 3/4 or is there some secret I'm not aware of? I cant find the stuff locally here in maryland either, just the real thin veneer home depot garbage and not full 4'x8' sheets
@StoneandSonsWorkshop
@StoneandSonsWorkshop 7 лет назад
This is actually cabinet grade plywood that I got from a friend. We have 3/4" plywood in the big stores here for less than $80. I would suggest finding a cabinet maker in your area and see if they can order you a sheet or two when they order. Thanks for watching.
