Very nice ! Thanks, I would never have thought to use a drill press. And the valve inserted into it is brilliant. But mine is only small and cheap chinese, maybe it will not have the strength. But will soon find out. Thanks again
I did this for a radiator cap, without drill press. No marking for pressure. I had another one that was id'd 13lb and it took 21. The one that wasn't marked took 13. I just took reading as soon as spring began to move. Im on the right track. Was wondering if that made sense. Thanks. Oh, PS. This guy is comparing springs is all. Wood will compress pretty much the same. If I was building some hp motor then yes I would go high tech.
No, I don't think so, this is hillbilly stuff. Come on, just get the one by Proform that is used while the spring is on the engine... Little over 200 bucks, You'll have peace of mind, rather than look like an idiot.
really as a\ tech nerd it works especially for finding week old stuff just fine one may need to use a good scale but the sensor in the newer units is a china cheap ass load thing just like the digital bathroom scales are useing
@@einarschwentke7813 We're talking about your engine here. Were talking about oiling down the track, or the street... But hey, you go ahead and sweat 200 bucks... Oh by the way, how much did you spend on your engine alone?? not even your trans, reared, tires, wheels...Make sure you tell the guys at the track that you use a bathroom scale... Jesus Christ...
