Thanks Man. I enjoyed that. Looks like my kind of fun town. My family name is Robinson, to my knowledge the first record of that name is supposed to have come out of Yorkshire. I was born In Toronto Canada and in 1793 it was named York also. Anyway, looks like I'd have alot of fun there, as I like to keep the beers coming. I've got to visit York!

Black Swan pub is probably my favourite pub in York, especially when they have the log fire on in the main room. Back in 2016, I did a 40 pubs in four days challenge, visiting 40 different pubs in York. That was quite a journey. I'd struggle to do that now! Still one of my favourite cities in the country though, need to get back soon.

I used to like York pubs. Being able to get real traditional ales..Now it's all light ( jump on the bad wagon ) craft beers. Citrusy nonsense. Totally disgusting. And Timothy Taylors! Need I say anymore. So sad to see the demise of proper Ale craft.
Shame you think so! Any particular beer styles you would be looking for? I like just about anything personally unless it’s super new world hops or super sweet. I do prefer classic bitters and stouts above all though! 👍🏻
