As someone who drives in tokyo, people who do this are literally hated by everyone. I hope this is banned eventually. While yea technically not hurting anyone, generally the drivers rarely pay attention to the actual road rules, similar to cyclists in other countries.
They're just jealous watching these people having fun driving in Go-Karts on the same streets they're driving to go to their dead end jobs while they contemplate about karojisatsu 🤣🤣🤣
A native Japanese here. I'm pretty sure a lot of foreigners aren't aware of this but locals are very frustrated how foreign tourists ride go kart in the street making so much noise and yelling and some of them even record a video on a phone while driving which is ILLEGAL. There is a certain number of Japanese locals who want the company to just shut down or get the police involved and take care of this issue. I have nothing to say what you guys should do regarding to it but I hope you guys respect the manner and locals and at least choose where to drive carefully and wisely if you use the service. Otherwise less and less people will welcome foreign tourists. I'm just raising awareness. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L55SLAqChOY.html here's the YT video discussing the issue (all in Japanese)
Hello, I would like to have this experience next year but I don't want to bother the locals. Could you give me some recommendations or rules that I should follow in order to respect the Japanese people. I'll look forward for your kind answer.
@@jhon15ize Japanese laws are old and have many strange parts. One of them is Japan's traffic law, which does not allow the other party to pay 100% of the repair costs for an accident in Japan, even if the other party is 100% at fault. What I'm talking about is the risk of accidents. People don't want to get into an accident.
