Left Jersey in 94 (worked at the Odeon) and the town itself hasn't changed that much but the harbour front - don't recognise it at all...so different; thanks for posting and a novel way of showing the town

yes jersey is pretty. i live in Jersey and just a week ago there was snow everywere. it was a winter wonderland the whole island was covered with snow.

worked hear in 1975/77,helped build the then new site for the Jersey Evening Post,and also worked in The Commodore Fish and Chip Shop in castle St,,best days of my life,my brother had a ice cream van on the Island with Duncan Bannatyne,happy days
I have been coming here since October 06 and every year onwards watching the jersey rally. love the island and friends I've made over the years. never knew Duncan b had an ice cream van on the island but I knew he had them here up north in the uk
St Helier is a quaint little place. One minute it's like the back streets Paris, then Brighton. Go around a corner and you could be in the back streets of Athens. Certain parts of this journey remind me of London. It's very quiet though.
I remember red houses near the airport, my dad used to go to the bookies there, loads of concrete lamp posts then !!!! yes I know saddd..but I loved them as a kid - fascinated me ?? - and staying at the Silver Springs hotel !!!
jersey is the besst place to live the big white building u see when on the beginning on the big road is cini world i only no everything on mthis vid cause im from jersey yes i am whoooo and it is great x
well the time of year has to be in the summer or something near july or june. the best place to vist is probally the living legened, german bunkers and the castels
@ty3165, I lived there for a while in early 1980's. The island is picturesque allright, but the small island mentality of the place drove me mad at the time. I swear to God, I saw the main headline in the Jersey Evening Post once about a woman in St Ouens who had lost her prize budgie! I dunno, maybe people like that kind of thing.

The island has a very dark and twisted past and some very strange disturbing land marks, residential schools, looks like the Catholic church left their mark on the Island!
