I’m coming out in a couple of days for the first time bringing my four-wheel-drive jeep. I really want to touch the water in the jeep do you recommend that I just keep it at 15 I know I should definitely not slow it down if I’m gonna go a little bit in the water and never stop. You think I’ll be OK
Watch the tides, low tide is best to drive in the shallow water. I've driven a sedan in the shallows before so i now it works fine. be sure to rinse the underside of your vehicle once you're done The sand in the shallow water is very firm. It's not like quicksand. you can drive on it and even stop for a couple waves. Problems come if you get too deep and the waves come up above your air intake.
@@ScottTaylorteam we went last week and had a lot of fun. Funny thing is, when you pay the five dollars to go to the parking there was a guy on your video at the five dollar toll booth and he was there the day I went and I told him, hey, you’re the guy on the videos, and he had no idea he was on the videos, and he was excited he said, that’s cool I’m famous. We rented quads from BJ’s. Great outfit those guys and we had a blast. I really hope they don’t shut down the beach in 2024, but it sounds like they are trying to. Thank you for your reply and your excellent videos. Have a great day, sir.
@@delreal.j4133grand Ave entrance you cross the river yes I believe you cross the creek south of the oceano / pier st entrance as well. I don’t generally drive that far south so I’m not the best advice though
