@@Stormyth_ A musical for every book sounds like a dream come true! The chances of that are slim, but it would be great! And with the way the first musical; it feels like it’s setting up for a sequel. I’m just saying if there ever was another musical, I would pay any amount to see it!
Something I love that stays consistent between every single Drive animatic I’ve seen is that the girl Percy talks to at the Lotus Hotel is ALWAYS Bianca di Angelo! Nico’s also always right next to her! It’s so cute! Also can I just say how much I love the design for the main trio? Grover especially looks so cute!
The little details from the book in this (like Grover’s shoes, and lightening when she says “Zeus” is absolutely incredible, and the animation looks awesome.
Holy crap this is so good! This is what I've been saying, Percy Jackson should be an animated series. Imagine the amount of shenanigans they could do with the story lol Anywhatevers this is adorable and awesome!

I love the variations in angles and scenes you used, and the little details like the butterfly, and how you drew everyone is absolutely amazing, and I just- wow. Any other words I can't say cuz they left to rewind and watch it again.
This is so good! I wasn’t expecting to see Percy Jackson musical on my feed today but here we are! Actually saw this musical for my 18th with my dad and sister. This is great.

This is one of my favorite animatics for PJTM!!! The character designs were amazing! Everything was so smooth and well timed! The expressions and transitions were flawless! Amazing job, this was absolutely incredible!
Adorable adorable art style. Very tidy animatic, you can see all the effort you out into it. It made very happy. The musical is just so freaking fun man, it makes me sad that the show took out so much of the fun parts of the book but the musical remembers to have fun with things.

i cannot express how excited i am that you remade this? i remember watching the first one in 2017 and its what got me into the musical. i literally got my friends over to watch it with me because i loved it so much. it brought back the memories and is such a testament to how you’ve improved over the last 6 (i think?) years. great work❤

I never noticed that in the original song, grover starts choking on the line where they sing the chorus with Ares, mraning in the original, he swallowed a fly or something. 😂
2:11 Percy: "WHOA WHOA WHOAWHOAWHOAWHOAWHOA. WHY are we FIGHTING?" Arguably the best non singing line. Like, at this point in the story Percy has... Maybe a Week or two of experience with the world of Greek Demigods, if that, and he has strong enough instincts to at least SUSPECT that something's off.
i just realised one thing. how would zeus strike them out of the sky if he didn't have his bolt? wasn't the point of why he was so angry because his weapon that does lightning and everything stolen. does he just not actually need it to do lightning? is he just less powerful without it? i've read the books a long time ago so i don't actually remember everything all that well, but i remember in the movies, they were saying at the beggining during a storm how there was thunder with no actual lightning. i guess he could have made powerful winds to mess with the flight. in any case, great animatic! loved it and i'm always happy to see pjo content!
I think he has other bolts but his master bolt was what was stolen, which is his most powerful? I could be so wrong about that but that's how I see it maybe lol and thank youu, I'm glad you enjoyed it!! :D
