Drive to Heathrow Airport | Airport Parking Terminal 2 | Heathrow Pickup and Drop Off
Just visited the airport in January 2024, and everything appears exactly as depicted in the video, except for the noteworthy change that the cost of parking in the short-term car park for both Terminal 2 and 3 has increased to a minimum of £7.50 for a 29-minute stay.
Terminal 2 - Short Term Parking
GPS Link - maps.app.goo.g...
For Arrivals (Pickup) at Terminal 2, opt for Level 1.
For Departures (Drop Off), utilise Level 4.
When parking on Level 2 or Level 3, take the lift to access Level 1 (Arrivals) or Level 4 (Departures).
Terminal 3 - Short Term Parking
GPS Link - maps.app.goo.g...
Level -1 serves as the Departure area,
Ground Level is designated for Car Park inquiries,
Level 1 includes Arrivals and Toilets.
Levels 2, 3, 4, and 5 are additional car park facilities.
Minimum parking charges in Terminal 2 and 3 - Short Term Parking:
£5.30 for 29 minutes (2022)
£7.50 for a 29-minute stay (2024)

I've never understood why,given the years that people have missed/by-passed the T2 short stay 😊 , there's still absolutely zero directions/signage indicating how to get back around to it . T3 is signposted,just after the pick-up place,but not 2. Anyway - this is so useful 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thanks for the video even an experienced driver will struggle between drop off and short stay. Really sad for earning more money they leave the way it is despite more complaints.

Thanks so much i always find my self in the drop off instead of the car park and I had to pay double my last visit paid 3 times at the end I went to park in terminal 3 then walk from there 🤦🏿‍♂️😂😂

They’re are crooks. I drove through twice by mistake and had to pay twice even though I didn’t drop. If I had Twitter I would express the unfairness as they refused to listen when I phoned

I opt for the short-stay car park for drop-offs because the price remains the same for up to 29 minutes compared to the outside drop-off. However, if someone wishes to accompany their passengers until the security check-in, I would prefer to park in the long-term stay car park.

Hi, Thanks for the video - really useful - can I just ask if there are any height limits in the car park, we have a Ford Tourneo Custom and often have problems with multi storey car parks. 🙂

Yes you can! else you can try open car park for Terminal 2 and 3 (Long stay). From offical official Heathrow website: The maximum height at the barriers for our Short Stay car park's is 2.2m (7ft 2in).

For dropping off passengers, you can use the short-stay parking area. While it costs 50p more for 20 minutes compared to the drop-off charges, it offers greater convenience. You can accompany passengers all the way to the check-in desk, making the process smoother and more comfortable.
