Govt.) with the frequency of : - - Every 2 years inspection for private vehicles (up to 3.5 tons) and (up to 8 passengers). - Every 1 year (annual) inspection for private vehicles (over 3.5 tons) and (over 8 passengers). - Every 1 year (annual) inspection for Commercially used and Public Institutionally used vehicles :- (Government, NGOs, Businesses, Schools, Hospitals, Police, KCCA, Military, Diplomats, etc) that are (up to and over 3.5 tons) and (up to and over 8 passengers) example :- (trucks, coaches, trailers, busses, taxis, vans, mini-busses, pickups, cars, bodas, ambulances, etc). - The Laws should include automatic travel ban on vehicles that haven't passed the inspections. - And heavy fines, loss of licenses and jail for the drivers and owners that knowingly operate already banned vehicles. - Traffic Police officers and inspecting mechanics that take bribes for allowing banned vehicles should be jailed.
