Yup phenomenal! I learned the trick of stopping after the crest of a hill and waiting for cop cars to fly overhead, and to swerve on wide streets so the cops would crash, but I never got more than 3 streets away from the central square. @Dani Satellite could you have headed to the parking garage right away, or is there a benefit to waiting for multiple round of cops to fly over you?
Ya know. The cars in this game felt “heavy” in the most proper way. Today cars in games feel light and nimble. Almost unrealistically. Granted this game had a gravity issue.
I'm agree, I like Driver bacause of it's physics! When you step on the gas and WRRROOOM!!! You feel the car like it's almost real, and it's controls are different on asphalt or grass, in the rainy or sunny weather
A few other games got it right too - GTA IV and BeamNG.Drive have very realistic feeling handling. However on the flip side, you get things like Mario Kart, GTA V, and need for speed.
I played this to death back when I lived on my own and drank beer when I wanted. Never seen driving like that without a scratch, seriously well played mate!! This brought back to me how mad the cops would get and yet how utterly useless they were 🤣
Back in the day I used to think I was shit-hot at Driver, but this is just something else. I have never, ever seen anyone play Driver like this. Amazing. Seriously good driving, you understand the physics of this game 100%.
The speed and exhaust sound of this car is amazing... I can't imagine on that days one day I saw a driver troll cops cars... This is amazing 😅😅 And the gamer of this video is a pro.. cause the cars is not damage in whole video
I remember till today how funny it was to bump into cops laying on the side. Bumping onto the down-part to send the cop to the moon, or bump onto the roof to send myself into the sky. Or crash downhard onto a wall, to crash through and explore the outer realms xD
The cops especially on survival mode were not good made as CPU cars. The only thing that made it hard for you, was the fact that the copcars had much more horsepower, so they had more acceleration and speed. But their way to drive was 50 IQ. For example even some game errors on the CPU: When your drove on the sidewalk and drove it several meters the cops just went to the point where you drove up and were only stillstanding. Why ever.. lol
