Brilliant explanation of the way to treat traffic lights at Junctions. I wish we had turn left on red in the UK and traffic light failures mean stop at the line before proceeding.

I have seen students get their foot stuck on the brake due to wearing flip flop type shoes.

Warning to NYC drivers! There is a "no turn on red law" in NYC unless there is a sign that says it is permitted. Turn on red and a cop sees this infraction you will catch a ticket.

1:02: What you said is wrong because even if you have a green arrow, traffic may not stop for you and if you go and someone runs a red light at the same time, you might not see the red light runner and it might lead to a crash. Use great caution when driving at all times.

If there were no turn arrows, who goes 1st if both are turning the same direction?

I literally can't do intersections. It doesn't matter what kind of intersection it is, when I come to one, I have no clue what to do.

But there are countless people who beat red lights here in philippines which means if we wait for them to finish crossing the intersection before we proceed, our green light will be over. You mean proceeding on green light before red light beaters are finished is wrong? No enforcers enforce traffic laws here. They have to be shown they're wrong.

oh god why is it mandatory that the actors in these things must be so fucking droning but at least it was easy to understand, most of the time when people try to explain this to me it sounds like go left when someone is right but not if right is up but going down but only if up is left and the left is going down unless they are going up in that case go you can go straight but not left but only if the other is going right but they cant go right if the other is going left
