We're riding on Saranac St to 70th and over the 8. A couple of drivers are in a hurry and pass on the wrong side of the quiet road, only to turn into and join the traffic. We're going to leave them behind, and a lot of other folks, and get over the 8 on a bike. As one does.

These videos can be scary, and I don't mean to deter people from riding bikes in San Diego, but to show the real-world conditions. Sometimes it's pleasant, sometimes it's just fine, and other times there's tension and conflict.
The roads in San Diego should be safe and accessible to everyone without the use of a car. My hope is that these videos help those in power make better decisions for all our safety. The more people who decide to ride, the safer the roads will become.
