I really do appreciate the law which some countries have that old cars only need to hit the road laws which were in effect at the time it rolled out of the factory. So, a 1969 car only needs to hit road laws of 1969 to be road legal, not 2024 which it would obviously fail spectacularly.
@@wolfgangBuonarotti By that logic, the entire aftermarket car scene is full of unoriginal and creatively lacking people. This dude built his car based on an artist concept for a movie that was put into a video game. How unoriginal of him lmao. The entire industry is built upon copying, improving, and sharing ideas. Don’t belittle someone’s creativity or taste because it doesn’t match yours unless all your builds are 100% bespoke. Even then, don’t be an ass. Using “subjective” to mask a snide comment doesn’t make you clever.
I’ve been playing games with this car and watching videos about it for almost a decade, and I’m so glad to see it’s still talked about because it is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen
Tell Ricky to get Boeshield T-9 and after replacing the bolts, spray the Boeshield on the bolt heads. It is aircraft grade anti corrosive coating spray. Also works excellent on impact sockets to keep them from corroding or rusting.
i love that the "simply safe" add pops up with the "simply safe" splash screen after you drive away crammed into a clown car with the seat removed so you fit, with your knees in the ceiling... 🤣
Driving ANY model A with any kind of power? Terrifying. Driving one with a nasty Honda hiding in it? Both terrifying AND fun? :) Loving the new Bigtime adventure guys, great to see you all having fun and getting back to smiling and enjoying what you are working on! See you in the million subscriber club....soon? ;)
I think we can all appreciate the work that goes into all these builds along with the videos ! Thank you Bigtime, all of you are an absolute inspiration 🎉
I had the seals on the master cylinder in my car go bad too, but it was a slow decline over a year or two. That was instantaneous. Very cool car though!
This episode gives me vibes of a certain show from back in the day… but like an on the road version of it. Love to see you go into detail from one end of the car to the other.
Being that Henry ford was a inventor and had a extreme love for his cars I’d imagine he would be happy to see his car is still alive today, with a twist from another person with a passion for cars/his car. That’s something that beautiful about the car community is seeing everyone’s personality come through their builds
You know you are BIG TIME when you drive an amazing car in the parking lot of an Iconic/Landmark Venue and... nothing is said about it. Maybe you didn't know that was the Miami Marine Stadium. It was built for watching power boat racing. Completed in 1963, and designed by Hilario Candela, a Cuban immigrant who was only 27 years old at the time. It has a pretty cool history. Unfortunately, it is closed due to hurricane damage, and age/dilapidation.
I believe James Schwartz began the build. He had one of the first FRSs in the US, then it became the first rocket bunny car, that and a couple SRT4s were sold and this project began; i winder what he's up to nowadays
This car was built by James Schwartz.... not this Ricky character... he just bought it and slapped a turbo on it. Zero credit to the actual builder is a huge miss here.... could say it was a BigTime fail.
Have you ever seen that FJ40 hot rod with the NASCAR Toyota engine? That thing is sick, it makes me wish Honda was in NASCAR so that you could so the same thing with one of their old cars. A third gen Accord coupe could work (gotta have those eagle badges on the C pillar), or get an S2K body shell (a wreck, of course, I’m not advocating ruining a good one), drop it on a custom frame with the NASCAR engine, and give it a crazy new front end, like a second gen Acty (round headlights and flat face, good for a hot rod) or maybe something bespoke with headlight pods from one of Honda’s motorcycles.
