This is essentially an upgraded version of the video I did years ago with the LT28. This has much better image and sound, and the weather is nicer too. It's not a doppelkabine this time, though, and no turbo either. However, the long bed is infinitely more useful.
Let me know if you'd like to see a simple drive like this in some of my other cars!

Well, it's tolerable when driving 40km/h. 60km/h feels and sounds like "fast". At the end of the video you can see what it's like to go 80km/h, but the camera is adjusting the audio level continuously so the level doesn't really come through. I can say, it's so loud that it's probably unhealthy without hearing protection. If you went to buy a new van or truck today and it sounded like this, you wouldn't spend the money. It's truly ridiculous what people put up with in the 1970s to 1990s.

Wonderful 🙏 If I remember correct, this is the type of engine that Volvo used?

Yes, Volvo has used this engine in the 1980s, and the turbo version in the 1990s.

Do you think I should make a video showing how to access the engine? I think it would be a bit boring, but it obviously is a lot different to most today's vehicles.
