Same. I just came across a video called ALAMEDA - THE ISLAND CITY on youtube. I would post a link but not sure if it's allowed. It got me homesick and was made in 1994 which was when I had just moved out of Alameda the first time. I was just starting a family.

That is Park Street. Park Avenue was just one street parallel (on the east side.) My hometown. I'll be back for a memorial at the 30th of this month. Thanks

Could you pass by the local schools Woodstock elementary and Chipman Middle school. Man I miss those wonderful teachers.

Sure Jim, my next trip to Alameda is in 2 more weeks. I pinpointed Chipman middle school on my GPS but can not find Woodstock Elementary school. Where it located at?😅. Thanks for watching n commenting on my post👍

I worked off Hegenberger for years. On the end of Pardee Lane, actually off Edgewater, (which is off Hegenberger.) On the south side of 880.

Market Street is West Oakland. Going down 5th you missed downtown. Maybe straight down Broadway and you could say downtown. Park Avenue is Park Street and the green bridge at the end is the Park Street bridge. I enjoyed your video however 👍 Maybe take some more scenic drives along Shoreline Drive next to the beach. Or check out the areas surrounding the Ferry terminal on Bay Farm Island or Joaquin Miller Drive (going downhill) to catch some Bay views? Thanks 😎 ✌
