Winnipeg Transit runs two bus services to and from the Winnipeg Airport, from 5:50 a.m. to 12:49 a.m. The bus terminal is located at the south end of the airport. Two routes are as follows (click on the name to see a map of its route):
• 15 Sargent/Mountain, airport to Inkster via downtown
• 20 Academy/Watt, airport to Leighton via downtown

Taxis from the Winnipeg Airport are priced by meter (not by flat rate). The average cost to downtown is $16, depending on traffic conditions. Only Unicity cabs travel from the Winnipeg Airport, and they are available just outside Exit 3 of the terminal building.
If you’re new to the city and travelling from the Winnipeg Airport, ask your driver to take you down Academy Road and Wellington Crescent to get downtown. This scenic route will take you by Winnipeg’s finer boutiques and restaurants, as well as city’s oldest and most elegant homes, which sit alongside the beautiful Assiniboine River.
AIRPORT SHUTTLES
There are several shuttles to and from the Winnipeg Airport, mostly serving hotels in the downtown core. Many are complimentary for hotel guests. Travel times vary depending on traffic and the number of stops.
