Driving in Thailand is no joke. you got steering wheel on the right. You got scooters passing you all the time. Gotta be real careful. But it's a great experience! #Bangkok #Thailand
Bangkok is amazing! But I definitely wouldn't drive there. I took uber for the first 2 days and wasted so much time being stuck in traffic that I finally decided to take the metro/ skytrain. Metro in Bangkok is well thought out and very easy to follow. Can really help save a lot of time and make the Bangkok experience more enjoyable.
HI! Driving in Bangkok is difficult. Traffic get congested all the time. Lots of scooters passing you all the time. At night you gotta be extremely careful. Hope you like the video. Have you driven in Bangkok?
Modernization of many Eastern citys left them little choice than unsightly overhead wiring. Disrupting business by tearing up streets for underground is their only option. Perhaps one day they'll do that but it is unlikely.
In this clip i saw that all streets are clean where is a garbage don't post like that eccept you are gelous. May be cleaner than your Country i think not far from Thailand.😂😂😂😂😂
If you live in LA, NYC, London and think you have bad traffic, try going for a cab ride in Bangkok. During business hours, you will literally get to any destination faster by walking, although that really isn't pleasant in Bangkok due to the humidity and air pollution. Internal combustion motorbikes in Thailand should be taxed like cars, or even higher. Use that to subsidize electric scooters. It would do wonders for air quality.
As a Japanese car owner, I love how Japanese automobiles are literally dominating the roads and are trusted by the locals in an SEA country known for harsh climate.
I'm a Thai driving a Mercedes Benz and a Honda. I would say that it rides good but I have to spend much more money (like 50 times more) and time on maintenance alone. Japanese cars are less advanced but do the job much better.
The locals buy Japanese because they are much cheaper compared to European brands as they are manufactured or assembled here. Unless you are stupid enough like me who bought a BRZ with a 300% import tax as they are not made in Thailand because I love them. This means no import tax. The rich or well to do locals buy European/Amercian luxury cars with an import tax of 300%. You will never see them drive Japanese, unless they are rare classics like the R34s or RX7.
@@youarehere0not entirely true, it is also because its very reliable and last for a long time with minimal servicing. If Japanese vehicles weren’t reliable, people wont buy them even if they are cheap, maintenance is expensive and time consuming. European cars are not only expensive but require much more care and maintenance for them to perform that way years later down the road.
Nice Video , well what can i say lovely Bangkok, just one thing put some wind shades on you cam hehe. Keep the good work greetings from Live Love Thailand
Bangkok It's Lovely ???? Oh,you serious ? Thais people are lovely yes ,that certain .But BKK it's So Ugly ,dirty, no space for walking ,no grass ,pollution maximum ,noisy maximum ,traffic MAxiiiiimum ,to hot …. I French ,i living in Paris ,and no comparat . You welcome in France .
@@vrom___vrom___7923 well although all those negative sides Bangkok city got many positive side that makes millions to love and adore. I hope the pollution problem will be solved soon.
Nice ride, it makes me have the feeling driving in Thailand, good for my mind to have habit to drive on the right car seat. Sure no habit and with my left hand more weak, it may be more difficult to manipulate the gear box.
I have never driven around in bangkok but reminds of driving in new york city you always have to keep looking around never know what will happen around you.
Pretty good cross section of Bangkok main streets. Village (estates for you Brits) driving is little more complicated and crowded. I drive in Bangkok daily and attest to the motorbike dangers as they do what ever they want and frequently cut in front of cars.
i remember i had planned to rent a car to visit the country side but abandoned all thoughts of driving there when I saw all the havoc lol. I would have hit dozens of scooters on my first day
Bangkok (Thailand) is the most popular destination for foreign tourists in Southeast Asia... But for me, this is the 5 top of most beautiful capital cities in Southeast Asia: 1. Singapore 🇸🇬 2. Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾 3. Jakarta 🇮🇩 4. Bangkok 🇹🇭 5. Manila 🇵🇭 & Hanoi 🇻🇳
Watching from Australia. Bangkok according to this video: no large busses, no trucks, no cargo vans, no jeepneys. Do these only operating night time? Thought I saw Nissan, Hyundi, Kia & Honda sedans, as well as the universal Toyota. Saw one lady in a mini skirt, sitting lady-like with both knees on the left side of the motorcycle (scooter?). Very dangerous when lane-splitting is so common. Rarely saw motorcycle drivers without crash helmet - illegal? All the vehicles had lights (brake, turning indicators) working, but rarely used their turning indicators.
We have a limited time access to the inner Bangkok for large truck. Pickup truck (your ute) are the most popular type of vehicle, so cargo vans is not necessary. Jeepney are available on smaller street and other city, which mass transit is limited. Both driver and passenger of motorcycle must be wearing helmet. In Bangkok's downtown, police strictly check for helmet, but not outside the city. Most accident here come from motorcycle ( definitely without helmet)
We don't honk that much in Thailand because we consider it a bit rude. I was surprised when I was in Vietnam because they literally honk all the time and nobody seemed to care.
16:35 ''I did It''....''I'm a harness in Jamaica'' T.shirt... Can anyone explain? Btw..Mrs69p drove to the Bamboo Bar with her mates. Got sloshed and drove back with her merry mates. BKK ...They drive on the proper side. Business as normal if you are in any way a decent driver. But who is?
@@randomcurrypuff6237 Lots of cars & motorcycles. Elevated trains and expressways. Overhead wires and billboards. Everything. The character of these two cities is very similar.
Hi Cool Vision, Please visit India best places are Goa, Mumbai, Chennai, Kannyakumari, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra/Karnataka Coastaline, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, etc.
Singapore is like a socialist living, strelized, plastic, no life, boring, robotic, expensize etc..i dont like, its better to be robbed by prostitute in Bangkok, its worth it!
@@vubaoanh1997 well, Bangkok is old town as many cities in Europe. this is why bangkok has no city planing. home and building came before road, people took boat and tram more than car or motocycle. after removed tram they just expanded the size of road. Singapore is very new city when compare to Bangkok. only one thing that can make Bangkok looks modern like Singapore is getting a nuclear explosion before drawing city like playing "Cities: Skylines" game :)
@@suchaorutaomaituengkarn1518 well if i'm not wrong Singapore used to be full of urban hell and poor districts, but their first Prime Minister, who studied in UK, decided to destroy them all and make a new Singapore. He hire one of the best advisors and city planners to help him design and develope Singapore. Poor city planning is not only Thai's problem, Vienam, Malaysia, India, Indonesia,.... also. Overall developing countries have that problem, we don't have a great, smart leader with a vision like him, these leaders can see only 5-10years ahead, while Singapore's maybe 1 century, even more 😆
People who are complaining about scooters, I challenge them to drive in Indian cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, etc. You'll see how crazy roads can be.
@Todd Jones so, is it better than Shanghai, Bejing, Shengzhen,... in China communist country? Poor Thailand haha. Thailand will never be as good as China.
Rishabh Duara india is much much much much much worse, even mumbai. I’ve been to bangkok and i live in mumbai. Trust me it’s 1000000% better than the best place in mumbai
