If you think it's dangerous driving in Bangkok! You're right! 

I drive regularly in Bangkok - I don't think it's that dangerous tbh. People generally follow the rules, with some exceptions (such as the emergency lane/hard shoulder being illegally used as an extra lane when there's traffic, or the occasional motorbike running a red light). I used to commute to Central London on a daily basis, and honestly life isn't that different here. Sure, there's a ton more cars, a ton more bikes, but I don't see accidents more often than I did in London. Also people are really good at indicating here, probably more than in the UK. The main thing that I really dislike (and this actually applies to the US too) is that people don't understand that you're meant to stay LEFT unless you're overtaking. Trucks/lorries driving in the 'fast lane' (the right-most lane) slower than everyone else are super annoying. There'd be a lot less traffic if everyone followed that rule IMO... and it'd be safer

The reason they want you to park with your wheels straight (and in neutral gear) is so that they (usually the security guard) can push your car, if you park in the middle of the driveway like that black car, so others can come out of their parking lots but if u r in a lot I don't see the logic other than "it can damage your steering column" if you park with your wheels not straight.

You'll be getting the whistle blown at you because for your parking😂

Straightening your front wheels when parking (in front wheel driven cars such as your Toyota) is good practice and reduces prolong tension on the rubber bushes that encase the CV joints Else, when cracks develop on the rubber bushes, sand gets in and cuts the smooth joints. A costly repair that can be avoided. I religiously do this on the advice of my mechanic.

Hahaha I find it hilarious and exhilarating. Try driving from central Java to Jakarta during Ramadan, its that times 10. I have done it 4 times and its a blast and yep take no shit, you must do as they do. Its the biggest shit show you will see. Second to a Vietnam school run. far out it leaves all for dead the most insane thing I have ever witnessed.
