I know im a bit late ,but ive been watching, listening to this for a long time now.Underwater ireland, i get yeh, i love yeh, welcome to ireland. Russian,Irish, poet ,artest .The paceof the video and music ,sublime.
This is brilliant it always reminds me of the days I used to drive around the ring of Kerry while simultaneously playing the Uilleann Pipes until I was arrested for dangerous driving and put of the road for 12 months.
Passed the cyclest coming to a bend, crossing a continual white line. Oncoming bus when you rounded the corner.. You never cross a contunal white line. You slow up behind the bike, and wait until your field of vision is clear, and the white line is broken. This is a seriously dangerous stretch of road, especially at high season. Great care must be taken, an no chances at all. Take care, but pull in to view areas and enjoy. Xx
We took the bus ride and it was so beautiful. My mom and dad were from Killarney. The scenary was just like they had described. It was like being in seventh heaven.
I drive the most of these roads each year. It seems that these are on the N70 from Kenmare to Waterville, I saw some places near Caherdaniel, Coomakesta,... But the road between Coomakesta and Waterville has been reworked and is now too much wide (for the coaches...) !
Ring of kerry blew my mind ,will definitely return and explore more ! yeah i remember we were laughing about speed limit signs with my friend cause you can't even go that fast
drove round the ring in june in good weather conditions ,wonderful seacapes and scenery, without music, some of the very best views in ireland, called at kells for a while ,a beautiful little beach and harbour ,often missed by tourists.
Great video!! Ireland is the most beautiful country in the world!! It's my dream to go there someday! I got butterflies in my stomach from watching this (proves how much I love Ireland!) Once again, I love the video!! The scenery was breathtaking!
Is there a method of walking the Ring of Kerry on a hiking trail? That would be mighty. Lovely music brings to mind something I heard Davy Spillane say on a radio interview. He said "Playing the Uilleann pipes is a bit like wrestling with an octopus."
I have not idea, why I'm soooo atracted to Ireland, or anything Celtic for tha matter, ever since I was little, and hope to vicit this beautiful country someday, I've been in shannon, but just at the airport, and that don't count, love the music son, thanks for sharing. blessings form the middle east.
@Paul Rodden I was deployed when I was in the Army, and to and from deployment we would stop in Ireland or Germany, wow, 11 years ago since I left that dust bowl and the military.
Man, I really wanna go to Ireland. It looks like a beautiful place. and as an american, I would have fear of falling off of the side of the mountains because driving on the left side of the road.....is just so different:P
When people ask does it rain often in Ireland? Really they should ask how often does the sun decide it wants to make an appearance. About as often as a lunar eclipse. You got the video on a good day. Great video make trips down there often its magical when the weather is fine.
great video, great ending, nice music. Glad you survived. We crashed our rental car there. Irish drivers are maniacs and one ran us off the road and kept on going!
Some parts ,Just off the Ring... On the Ring of Kerry is the direction and time thats important...Best is before 9 in the Morning and counter-clockwise direction. When you meet some guy in an over sized camper-van gioing the wrong way then you will know why, richardflanaganireland Notice the number of Coaches the Guy is meeting in this video.... he is going the tough way.

100 Km per hour?? dang. That's crazy fast to drive on those roads. I read though Ireland has a very low driving death toll. perhaps among the best drivers?
We visited on two occasions, for two weeks each time, in 2005 and again in 2013. It didn't rain during our first holiday and rained on two days during our 2013 stay. You will also notice the many RU-vid videos of people's holidays in Ireland and the many rain-free days.
