Wow things looked so much more “regular” back then - the cars, the way people dressed, the buildings. These days when I go into Manhattan everything looks all glossy and flashy and over-the-top
We definitely are living in a SUV, Truck, and crossover era. I’m honestly enjoying it since I definitely know in 10 to 20 years from now the only new vehicles available will be electric cars and who even knows what kind of car will be popular by then 🤷♂️
I understand, the world was so much better especially before the industrial revolution, then advances in technology and medicine reduced human difficulties and ruined everything😔
taxidriver570 I love technology don’t get me wrong but it’s very distracting, it’s another useful thing used for uselessness I feel like humans were more proactive back then
This was golden age social media , late 90's - mid/late 00's. Myspace was starting It's dominance , RU-vid was coming a year later , and most smartphones still weren't advanced enough yet to be online or use social media comfortably 24/7. You still had to physically go Interact with people. 2007 when iphones dropped and Facebook took over was when everything started to change for the worse imo. From then on , people were on social media on the go 24/7 like zombies.
@@fawkkyutuu8851 yeah 90s and early 2000s back when people were using flips phones good old days but when 2007 came iPhone was introduce and that's the beginning of the smartphones addiction early 2010s/mid 2010s smartphones and social media took over everyone and that's when the future was changing for the worse.
Diego Fantin at least the entertainment was good they had toy story, Spongebob, courage the cowardly dog, Teen Titans, Ed,Edd n Eddy WWF, Fairly oddparents list can go on also don’t forget the greatest console ever PS2
I was 5 in 2004. LOL wish I could have been in NYC LOL. Friends had just ended in 2004, Spiderman 2 came out. So many things aaaahh SO FUCKING NOSTALGIC
You can still live in those times live a whole year listening to 2001 hits music then the next year play 2002 hits music that’s how you live old school
Yes, that's Bill Clinton's office in the building at the left with the tinted windows, at 5:55. And speking as a Harlemite, it's not an honor to have him in Harlem, if he's even still there. But I do remember clearly that he was there at that time.
This literally sounds like a convo n banter that would be had today lol just with no cells phones in sight. Not much changed except the energy, infrastructure and post covid lol. As a y2k baby this somehow felt nostalgic but not that long ago at the same damn time. I would’ve been 2 and in Queens but somehow remember the feeling of 2000’s music playing, loud sounding buses, old school time square vibes and the billboards and specifically the bikers that would be on the road (and they used to hold onto the handles of cars on highways to speed them up, that was strange lmao) and 🥷🏾s that would try to flirt w my mom. If I seen the video tape as a baby I’d be like “this sh boring as hell” but now, it’s relatable to see. Early Y2K was a calm vibe😌
