Yeah I would say it is because Riccarton Rd is one of the main roads coming in towards the city from both the south (Main South Rd - State Highway One) and the west (West Coast Road - State Highway 73) so isn't too far from the center of town and close to Westfields Mall (Riccarton Mall for us old timers). The same is also for Main North Road (onto Papanui Road)plus has Northlands Mall) and Cranford Street which both come in from the North of the City towards the center of town. Memorial Ave (from the Airport) is similar but has lot less. Both Riccarton and Main North Rd directions are not too far from the center of the city so makes it easy to tourists (domestic and international) to come in without worrying about too much traffic or people in the center just to find their motel and then can go to any part of the city.

Hello, unfortunately my friend is a complete technophobe and doesn't use any social media platforms. I will try writing again and hope the old fashion way will bring me some luck this time. The reason I'm so worried is because the last time we spoke she told me that her partner had been in hospital due to a sudden unknown illness and had inexplicably and unexpectedly died so of course she was terribly upset and in shock, and that's the last time we spoke.
