My childhood home, I will always miss it. I just want to go home again. I lived there year around for the first 12 yrs of my life. I just wish CA was affordable.
Nice video!! Definately gave an idea of what to expect. I'm actually thinking about purchasing a home in Running Springs and commuting several days a week to L.A. I know f'ing crazy but gotta do what I gotta do. Compared to HWY 18, would you say this one is more dangerous? What about driving during the snow season?
Mrs.Wright, 😔😞😢😥How I miss that ride back up the hill to home. I was packing on a 1949 hardtail Harley. I miss literally. LITERALLY on a boulder in sunshine but my legs were in a cloud. Cold legs. Really gota do it to know that straange feeling. Coming down off the Hill? The air saturated with orange groves. 😶 miss it sooo much.
My heart ACHES to go bak toRunningSprings. It's a pleasure no where else in The world. Sit in sunshine but dangle your feets in The clouds. Worked at Lake Arrowhead Hilton Lodge, Mountain Man Restraint. I WANT TO GO BACK. Many friends made. Smell the orange blossoms while coming down the hill. EVA 1 CALLS ME BOXX. I want to go back.
It looked like much more traffic going into San Bernardino than out. What are the traffic patterns? I'm assuming week days are way busier than weekends. What are the least traveled times where you can open it up a little and enjoy the turns?
