In todays lesson with Erin we worked on scanning for hazards as well as dealing with roundabouts. Driving along with the main roads we had various hazards along the way. Pedestrian crossings, cyclist, hill starts

I would HIGHLY recommend watching this channel if you are learning to drive...I failed twice then watched mainly this channel for 2 weeks and passed today....I truly believe these videos helped ...so a MASSIVE thankyou cos you do make a difference ♥️

Her feet position definitely give me anxiety. I worry even just 1 slip is all she needs for things to be disastrous. Would be great if you could keep reinforcing that and same maybe for accelerator! thanks :)

I really struggled getting used to my (diesels) instructors biting point compared to my car (petrol)- I found doing the bay parking manoeuvers really helped clutch control, even if i wasnt in the lines just the practise of it was soo helpful :)

I get illegally passed ( i'm from the US and its illegal to pass on a double yellow line) so many times cause drivers are impatient! I was almost doing the speed of the road when someone recklessly driving turns on the the road and passes me within seconds. I deal with it all the time Erin handled that well :)

I would not have been that patient with that cyclist. 😄 Of course, safety is important, but when the cyclist went up on to the pavement after the zebra crossing and then still staying in front of you on the road, I would've wanted to get past as soon as possible.

Please teach her to change to gear 2 when you it’s over revving, it would be more smooth for her. I was scared of changing gear too! It took me about 2 lessons to get the hang of this.

Where do the signalling/indicating rules come from for mini-roundabouts? As far as I can tell the highway code only says there is less time to signal, but doesn't say you can skip the left signal you'd usually make on regular roundabouts when turning right or going straight ahead.

I believe you must signal left to exit straight ahead when there’s no junction to your left or it’s a minor and when turning right you cannot skip a signal upon exiting these are just test standards

This is an old video but I'd love a bit of clarification because I can't make sense of what I'm seeing online. I live in Switzerland and we don't have mini roundabouts at all, but from what I've seen of them there's one situation that really confuses me: When two cars approach the mini roundabout from opposite sides at the same time and one of them wants to make a right turn, people seem to say that the turning car actually gets priority in that situation, which feels very strange since you're gonna be blocking the roundabout for longer than the other car just going straight, so the encounter would be over faster if they went first. Is this interpretation correct and, if so, why did they design it like this?

I believe Erin is doing well but the placement of her right foot for the pedals kind of do irk me. I know that may be a me problem but it looks like she has less control over gas and break and yet her clutch control is good because properly extends her left foot.

Welll previously she’s had her seat closer and the right foot placement is good but then her t is too close. With this she’s comfortable with her left foot and her right foot is too low and I’ve mentioned this to her She’s aware of this It’s never slipped on the brake and with the accelerator it doesn’t matter as the pedal is a lot lower and longer so it’s fine

Hi Amen Did you qualify under the old style pre set tests (PST's) part 3? Your style of teaching is very much instructor led and not very client centered. I wondered if this was due to your editing, however, I have watched many of your video's now and they are all very similar. Although there are times where telling the pupil what to do will be beneficial, especially in order to manage risk, revolving the lesson around the pupils goals and needs will have a much bigger impact on their learning.

I'm sorry but you sound really confused and tongue tied as an instructor which will definitely not help the pupil understand the objective..You seem too focused on the camera. As a former instructor/ examiner and now SE you need to focus more on pro-active instruction rather than reactive..Also,I myself was a little confused with your crossroads explanation,"give way to vehicles coming straight or from the right if you're going straight ahead"?🤷..
