It was a grayling Becks!😁 A member of the trout family, and just as good eating when you get one big enough! (Remember to wet your hands before handling a fish you intend to put back😊)
Your content is informative and engaging, so thankyou Becky. I've followed you for several years. If you feel burnout coming, pace yourself, or it will stop being fun. Wishing you a happy, healthy New Year.
Lovely vlog Becky. Sweden is definitely on my motorhome bucket list. It's good to be reflective and sharing your thoughts reminded me of how special our natural world is and the joy of being out in it.
Thanks for this one Becky. How wonderfully all encompassing. I really look forward to the day you catch one maybe even big enough to share with Jake. All the very best for 2024. Cheers.
Great video Becky, just like 2023 has been wonderful. Living the present moment isn’t always easy, but you do it it very well. Wishing you and Jake Happy New Year 🎉!! Take care !!
Great video Becky! I totally feel this, when your job is to document your life, the line gets muddy and can really take a toll on your mental and emotional state, I've definitely been there this past year a lot. Thanks for another great video, beautiful scenery and sharing your journey!!
It was great that you could spend some time enjoying the country(s) on the way back, what a beautiful place. Just to see the Northern Lights would have been worth the trip for me. Thank you for all the time spent recording and editing your exploits in 2023, and I look forward to 2024.
Lovely video, Sweden is a wild and amazing place. The shots of the Northern Lights were fantastic! Best wishes for '24; may the road lead to wild places and bring much joy.
Happy New Year to you both. It’s good to be able to have the places to sit and contemplate what’s going on in your life and my goodness they were stunning. Enjoy the rest of your journey. Look forward to seeing you again in 2024. Take care, be safe. 💕 Dorset, UK
Hey Becky! Always enjoy your videos. Wanted to say I started watching your videos (early on) when you were doing things you loved...not doing things you thought we'd like. That's still true (for me). Hope you (always) focus on doing what you love. Happy New Year!
Happy new year Becky. The important word in this video is BALANCE. Keep up the great work and fantastic videos, but please, take care of yourself ... plenty of Becky time in beautiful places, without the pressure of work.
Wish you many great outdoor adventures in 2024. Amazing how much your channel and content has grown from the early days demonstrating camping skills and campfire meals. You're a great inspiration to all enjoying and appreciating the outdoors. Best wishes for 2024 Becky and Patrick!
That was a beautiful video. Your thinking and maturity are so far ahead of young people your age. Hope you have a wonderful new year. Stay well and be safe.
Good evening & Happy New Year Becky & Jake ! What a spectacular video & location ! Thank you for sharing the beautiful night sky shots ! May the New Year continue to engulf you in Nature’s Offered Beauty everywhere you encounter yourselves ! Keep up the great work & keep smiling !
Happy new year to both of you 💫 Lovely young fish, glad that you put them back. I thought your schedule was hectic too, so good that you've worked it out 😊 I miss the bushcraft in the woods, so I'll go and see what Bushwacker Man is up to
.... Beautiful video Becky ... Don.t know if that was your first fish ever ,, but I love seeing the excitement of someone's first catch ... instant morale and confidence booster ... whether for the pan or just for sport ,, all the same .. Happy New Year ... Stay Safe ....
I've discovered your channel a few days ago and have watched your Cape Wrath Trail series and this Sweden one. Amazing content. I've also watched your first Q&A and am amazed, impressed and inspired by the wisdom in your outlook at life. Take care of yourself, like you said it's crucial to reflect and take it slow, burn out can come from anywhere. Documenting your passion must be hard at times, and I hope you'll find a way to thrive and enjoy life to the fullest, wherever it might take you. So true what you said about the place you are in vs. Your state of mind. I've been to places (Norway, Canada amongst other), but unfortunately mental health issues have made it difficult for me to enjoy life, even there. I have regrets sometimes, but I'm trying to look at it differently now. All the best, and happy 2024.
Hi Becky that was Awesome and Amazing catching that fish and letting it go Big Hats off to Becky showing how to letting fish go I hope others would do the same ❤❤❤😊😊
I thouht you would love Sweden. I lived 11 years in Krokom, Jämtland, near Norwegian border. It's so beautiful there, the mountain area is called "Little Alaska". If you even return to Sweden you don't have to go that north to find great wilderness. The whole Sweden-Norway border area is just fantastic and there is a lot less tourists in Jämtland than Lapland. If you plan a new Sweden trip you are welcome to contact me . Living now in Helsinki, Finland and can help you as well if you are planning a trip to Finland.
Not to be rude, but you and Jake had an awesome time in the wild that you both created, enjoy while you’re young enough to enjoy it, because it will be years later till you get another chance, like me now 😂😂😂
Did a few months backpacking 20+ years ago. Definitely isn’t easy. Always on the move carrying everything you need. Waiting planning, budgeting you money. When I finally came home back to work , working seemed easy. 20+ years on would love to explore again. But family commitments there’s no chance.
Hi Becks. Make your New Years resolution to get the balance right. Sometimes easier said than done. I love sharing your adventures but would rather have you in a good place if that means a little less content. Have a happy & healthy 2024 xx
Great video Becky looked like a great place to spend some time and enjoy the surrounding area you face when you court the fish great music choices happy new year mate atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍🍺🍺
Hi ya Happiest of New Year’s , awesome video, I had too learn walk and talk again in 2023 so you have good days and bad , your videos are always an inspiration. Take care and stay safe cheers from a hot and stormy Qld 🥵⛈️🇦🇺🥰
Happy New Year to you both! That fish was the size of many of the legal sized trout we get here, people will catch a few and cook them cleaned but whole over a fire or pan fried.
Another great vlog, make the most of your youth, every minute is precious , trust me, this is coming from an old goat who wishes i did more when i was younger. Have a great 2024.🎉.
Becky, you know when you know. Maybe take some time off from all your travels and catch up on editing videos to create the best videos. Learning your camera settings in how to take great night videos. An outstanding video and thanks for sharing. And thinking Jake is a keeper. Enjoy life and have an extra wonderful day.😃
You guys should try fly fishing to improve catch rate but more importantly, mentally you will get even more benefit than from spinning and end up keener anglers ! Keep up the fishing in wild places and thanks for video
Hey, nice video. Great content and nice relaxing vibe. Looking forward to seeing what you are going to post next year. What is going on with your sister she doesn’t post much any more? 😊
Nice that you really loves Sweden! It’s the best land to hike because you can stay wherever you like. Me and my wife walked Kings trail almost the same time you were there. It’s on our channel if you want to see. The fish you got was a grayling “harr “ in Swedish. We like your videos! 👍
I see you're slicing sweet potatoes. Slice them a centimeter thick, then fry it in caramelized brown sugar. Put a slice or two in skewers or eat using a fork. Try it. Delicious snack.
Miss Becky, I remember when you first started almost in your backyard now you are traveling the world 🌍... still awesome! You are so cute with your hair all mussed💖. Still lovin'it from Texas 💕.
