Driving My Trawler into Drydock 

Gus i'm 65 needing a knee and shoulder replacement and have been on the water all my life in some aspect. I have a 21' bayliner trophy hardtop that we won a salmon tournament in lake Ontario. It's in bad shape. I'm retired and doing ok , never heard of the Great loop. My wife will retire in 4 1/2 years and at that time if i'm still breathing air we are selling the house, buying a boat and doing the great loop. I'm living my dream thru you but maybe someday we'll cross wakes. Thanks, live life and never look back.

Hey man, just an etiquette thing... The American Flag doesn't go on the bow, its flown off the stern or at the least as a courtesy flag from an antenna or anchor light post up high. Just an FYI.

The South Gulf Cove lock provides access to the South Gulf Cove Canal system. And it is open on demand by manual operation no set times. You are in the Safe Cove yard about 1/4 mile from my house. If you need anything or local information let me know. One of my Buddies is currently restoring a 36 Monk in that yard.

That boat has been a reliable tank for you..like you plan,it deserves some payback,touchups and love.Paints,canvas...now is the time to get some jobs on her done after your delivery trip and money making.It felt emotional this episode for me,like it was mine.

Bro, found your transport vid lastnight, and since, I binged the whole series on your trip to FL. Im sad it cost 40k to do it..i know i never seen that kinda money at 23..even now at 40! I dono how you pulled it off not getting help from parents but I trust your word on it! The trip to the Keys with the girls was good content! they are all soooo pretty! Living the dream mate! I first want to say that I have only recently found your channel. I love it. I've been so impressed with your abilities whether it is working to restore your boats or manning the helm. You do a great job. I know everyone has their opinion about diesels. Cummins has a long history building marine diesels as well as over the road truck engines. I think they are as good as any. I'm glad to hear that you have had good experiences with them too.

Awesome year, so much fun, adventures, learning, friends made, you piloted Quest very well through thick and thin. Loved sharing the year through your entertaining videos. I'll watch the delivery trip videos with interest since I did the Hudson River, Erie Canal and Lake Erie on an Albin 35 Command Bridge some years ago. My wife and I had a great time.

Stop off in Toledo when you finally get to the second half of the great loop. My boss did the loop in a caravan of Hatteras's years ago. I missed the opportunity to go from Lauderdale back to Toledo. A major regret on my part.

FYI, if you do not have your captain's license, I would not be advertising that you are transporting boats. That would be illegal and there are a lot of delivery captains that would call on you
