Great to see you're feeling better Gus. Hope your boatyard in Maine realise they have a mechanical genius working for them and pay you accordingly. Hi from Melbourne, not the Florida one!
22:30 that is not a scrap metal junkyard. That is the Port of Palm Beach. The inlet on the adjacent side is Palm Beach Inlet, I go in and out of there all the time!
Fast forward 5 years in to deep annual Maine to Florida boat trip is up to 50 boats this year with three scheduled stops there will be bands ,boat shows and fishing contests all are welcome
No ear plugs when diving. They produce an air space that you can't equalize. If you have trouble with ear infections use something to dry your ears with after the dive.
Hey there, Gus, I know you didn’t make it to the Bahamas like you wanted to go so let me know when you are going down there again in the foreseeable future. I’m here in Jacksonville Florida. We can get together in possibly the Bahamas things I’ll chip in and have a great time.

I'm a 73 yr old greatgrandma. I LOVE YOUR POSTS!!! ❤I have a passion for mechanics, and your channel satisfies that love. I worked for 30 years for Newport News, and then GE turbines manufacturing as a draftsman before CAD. I wish I could do it all over again. THANKS FOR THE VIDEOS! I'll buy some merchandise. 👍
24:44 it's a racing sail boats. The entire boat including what was the Mast was made out of carbon fiber the boat hit a bridge on the icw with the mask I was told from Vero Beach to Fort Pierce by towboat us I was on the towboat when it happened
Gentlemen, when you have guests on board, you *ALWAYS* give them the sunrise and sunset shifts. Give them the best shifts. Not the night time shifts. Just my 2 cents.
I hate to break it to ya but your a sailboat man and even if your not yet. The profit you could make refitting a sailboat to flip would be outstanding .. I would watch ..
Your content is truly captivating and insightful, always bringing joy and valuable information to your audience. I admire your adventurous spirit and storytelling skills in documenting such epic journeys. And I am floating village life
Gus, so glad you are feeling better. My Mom and Sister struggled their whole life with IBS/CROHNS/ COLITIS! My grandmother had Crohn’s and had to wear a bag her whole life. I try to eat healthy as to avoid heading down that path!! Take good care of yourself. I love your videos….had my own Hatteras 53 for awhile. Beautiful boat!!
Can't believe I just watched a two plus hour video of in too deep. I have watched all your videos since the beginning and enjoyed them all. Can't wait for the next one. There better than the stuff on tv. Thanks and Safe travels.
Terrific video! It looked like you anchored just west of the Connecticut River behind Duck Island in Westbrook/Clinton Ct off Grove Beach. Is that correct? Great spot. My family has had several homes in Grove Beach starting in the 1880’s.
I know what a camera can do in a storm, usually looks like a flat lake. I can see here that the sea is horrible, so reality is probably 10 times worse. Your boat is handling well (and so do you). I would not want to be out there, rolling and being tossed around.
I find your prop size quite interesting. My 1970 Hatteras 44 triple cabin has Detroit 6-71N's (350hp, N95 injectors), I have twin disc 2.4:1 gears and I'm propped at 26x30 from the factory.
