I got a 2002 3.4 impala currently... it has 66,000 miles and I put the last 30k on it myself, ugliest impala they ever made but I tell you what, its a great little car.
@@WizardMower I have to say that it is. now that being said personal opinions will vary. this model, although i love my impala, to me has always looked like it was kind of thrown together design wise. like two different people designed the car and they separated the work for the front and back ends.
Broke But Functioning Garage If you’re discriminating the rear, I have to agree that’s ugly. And the interior isn’t pretty (but very comfy) I think the 8th gen gets criticized so much because of the rear tail lamps
@@WizardMower I dont even really mind the rear lights but man they dont match the car at all... I have the paint matched body colored tail lights on mine (with a quad light mod) and the ss spoiler which does help the look but it still looks like the front and rear were two different projects that they cut and pasted together lol. the interior is surprisingly comfortable (mine has a bench front seat) but there are a lot of different colors in them. I have a navy blue car and its interior has light tan, dark tan, brown, and grey all within the cabin. (and i know they've never been switched or mismatched at all being it was a one owner car before i got it.) just looks like a hodge podge of parts they had in a warehouse lol.
Broke But Functioning Garage I love the bench seats, I constantly drop stuff in between the center console. I predict a bench seat would be less of a problem with dropping stuff
@@bignuts2969 car kept blowing head gaskets then it started burning oil real bad. Eventually locked up solid. Quite honestly though all the 3000 series engines suck except for the 3800
Considering the condition of the interior, And that rod knock, This is a beater. Three years ago he claimed "Mike had 150000 on it but then the motor blew on it" What a shame, I love these cars.
@@mista6187 You weren't a dick, I myself seem disappointed this poor car got abused, These can last over 200k miles, If it had the 3.8 It could last 300k miles.
By the time mine got sold it was at 143k miles.. Perfect leather interior everything worked as it should. I did some upgrades as far as a 7 in double din and a 10 inch tablet and upgraded speakers and two 15in audiopipe subs in the trunk.. I kinda miss that car but i got a tahoe now

i was watching another youtube video called "2002 Impala W bodyL36 exhaust Clip"I asked the same ? i asked here he said it's the grouping size that matters that's what determines the cold cranking amps.And what do that mean when you say THE RIGHT RATING ?
There decent cars just watch for a blown head gasket. Check the oil and if it looks milky stay away. Also if the coolant isnt orange or green might want to think about passing as well
