A lot of the time we think about "bad" neighborhoods our minds often jump to late nights and dark alleys. This video drives through three of the the most dangerous south Baltimore neighborhood, but does so at 7 am on a Saturday morning. This gives a profoundly different feel to the neighborhood and hopefully will help people realize that even in the worst neighborhoods, there are plenty of people up early, going to work and generally living productive and positive lives.

Can i just say that we create our own reality. imagine you put some nice old Jazz on top of this footage and just record it and without putting this preconseived notion that it is dangerous. that might very well be BUT we never stop to consider that we are constantly projecting the music we listen to, the films and so on, on to our reality. what happened to love and kindness and gentleness and innocense and fun. The blues, the honest black cries of love and misfortune in life. Music that turned the dark into the light. Today it seems to me we live in a very bright world that we constantly want to turn into something unpleasant and dark. stop with this fucking unhuman quantized FL studio BS and put some fucking Miles or some Armstrong on up in this bitch! LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL AND WE ONLY HAVE TO CHOOSE IT.

I totally agree with what you’re saying with! That’s why I wanted to show it in the morning to give a different view than the stereotypical dark and scary vibe … one thing I may disagree slightly on though … you say I have the “preconceived notion” that it’s dangerous, as if it’s just a biased opinion or misguided thought … there are hard statistics that show that Carrollton Ridge and Mount Clare are routinely some of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the city.
