We really like your installments, and your camera work is fantastic, but we have one small request: it would be cool at the beginning or end to put “filmed between Sept 12 and Sept 15” Just because of curiosity
Another epic video…the glacier, the never ending beautiful mountains, bears and bears eating salmon, fudge, cool looking jade, those campsites and it goes on and on…so many spectacular things in this video! We laughed when we saw Kona steal the firewood… OMGosh so funny! Loved Adam’s choppa comment and of course your fun dance moves! Keep traveling safe!❣️
Don’t you just love the bears!! 🐻🐻🐻. We never get tired of seeing them in the Shenandoah!! I’ve hiked on the trails with many black bears! It never gets old. Love and respect them!❤
Already back from Alaska?!? It feels like it was just yesterday that you were announcing your plans to go to Alaska. Thank you for sharing your journey with us! It was truly epic!
So happy to see you got to experience the grizzly eating salmon! I’m celebrating for you🎉🎉🎉🎉 Excellent video yet again, you guys rock!!!! Oh and the second one taking a swim 🎉🎉🎉🎉 And thank you for sharing the story of the missing indigenous women🙏
My wife, kid and myself travel the USA and watch tons of traveling vodeos to get a idea of what and where we want to go. Large majority of youtube posts are kinda blah! You two did a great job!! Keep on keeping on and thanks!
Hello Adventurers😊😊😊, WOW...WOW...WOW...Glaciers and big BEARS!! OMG I couldn't stop watching that awesome footage of that BEAR!! AMAZING GLACIERS...WOW!!! This was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍!
Dear Adam and Kathryn, This is not a comment on this video per se although this one was great and beautiful. I've been following you for over a year, since about when you were going through Wyoming eastbound last year plus a few earlier videos. I have greatly enjoyed them and feel like I have gotten to know new friends. Interestingly enough, even though I have 40+ year of age on you I tend to think of you guys as contemporaries rather than "nice kids." I don't know if that says something about me, you, or both. I have lived a long and interesting life and don't plan on leaving anytime soon but I have realized that I don't have too many firsts or new experiences at this point. Watching you I have been able to experience a large number of firsts that I didn't expect to have and this has been a very good thing. My wife and I hope to follow at least some of your adventures and places where you have blazed the trail for us. So, a very sincere and hearty, thank you.
That is a very nice and kind comment, George! We really enjoyed reading that. We are very lucky and thankful we are able to share our journey so others can enjoy them in some way as well! Thank you so much and thanks for watching!
I need to thank you guys for posting this particular video. During the prep work for my own trip, I knew I'd be driving down the Cassiar, but I probably would've driven right past Boya Lake if it hadn't been for this video. I just visited it yesterday and I have to say it really is a very special place. Not only was it the right place for a lunch break, but the sheer majestic beauty of the place is almost magical. And it transfers really well into photos. I can't get over the colour of that water! It's a bit like Muncho Lake, only smaller.
@@AdventuresofAplusK Today I went to Bear Glacier ... geez, another incredible place, but I didn't go into Hyder. My schedule was a bit too tight for that. (the downside of making reservations at campgrounds)
Today marks my 24th anniversary moving to Alaska. Traveling the Cassiar was probably the most memorable leg of my journey. Black bears feeding on the grass in the ditch!!
What a fun, beautiful video. A&K & Kona, your Alaska, Yukon & Canada adventure has been so beautiful. And seeing your excitement of watching Runner was so amazing. Your camping spots were epic. Your information, videos & editing are the best on RU-vid. Thank you for taking us along for every adventure, hike, kayak. so fun Jennifer and Jerry in Arizona
Oh my goodness!! That bear footage is so freaking cool. I love it when they shake the water off. We have our trip booked for Katmai in August of 2024!!!
It's always kinda weird but really cool to see Smithers in videos. As someone who was born (and spent many summers) there, It's absolutely wild to see places like Main Street in a vlog.
This was such a beautiful end to your Alaskan & Canadian summer! I'm so sad it's over not just for y'all but also for us to watch😢 I guess you'll just have to go back again one day! 😊
Your bear videos are the finest quality "bear eating salmon" videos that I've ever seen anywhere on youtube!. You guys were very fortunate to see them; but your photography was outstanding!. that was a lot of fun!.
I totally agree with your comments on Hyder and the bears viewed from the boardwalk. I had the same reaction and at age 65 stated, “I saw the bears, I can die now”.
Beautiful scenery. I think I liked this highway more than the Alaska highway, at least as far as things to see. The view of the glacier from above was awesome, and who doesn't love watching wildlife. Welcome back to the lower 48.
I've enjoyed watching your journey to and from Alaska. Appreciate all the research you do and share so eloquently. I've been to Alaska 3 times, but have never driven from the lower 48. You've given me many great ideas when I drive there in the future. Glad you got to see the grizzlies close up. Awesome experience.
What an epic trip!!! I didn't think you could top your Dempster Highway video, but this is incredible! I live in BC (Vancouver), but I had no idea these spots even existed! Salmon glacier looks unreal! Definitely planning a BC roadtrip for next summer!
Ok that was an epic video...absolutely loved it. I think you need more bear footage though...that wasn't enough...lol....I kid, I kid. Smithers looked like an awesome stop and that crater lake drone footage was just great. You had some awesome weather there. All of these vids make me want to get up into Canada very soon. Great Arnold impression Adam as well...perfect end cap to the video series.
Making video in BC and Alaska! I loved all of the bears and the glacier view! So gorgeous! Safe travels to Chicago! We will see you when you get back. Hopefully some North Cascades! 😁
I'm planning a big 2 or 3 month roadtrip for fall 2024 from Ohio up to Tuktoyaktuk, back through a lot of Alaska, BC and other areas. I ran across your videos on the area and have REALLY loved them! Thanks so much for taking the time to do the great content, fantastic video and production work, and then taking the time to chapter the videos and provide Google map links to the highlights. Not only is it fun to watch you two, it's making it easier for us to plan an epic trip of my own! Thanks!
My husband and I anxiously await your new video releases and check RU-vid every day to see if there's something new. We have seen many of your videos and first found your channel when we were planning our last Florence Italy trip. It's not just the beautiful places that you visit but how your love and commitment and pure joy of being together really come through on your videos. The way that you look at each other as you experience something new together is truly inspirational. We always feel like we are along for the ride, not just learning something from you both. Continue doing what you do and we cannot wait to see what your future holds for you; not just new videos, but where your popularity takes you on your journey. (We're betting on your own show on the Travel Channel because you are both so marketable! ) Stay safe, stay well and wave as you pass through Oregon again!
That is a really nice and kind comment, Jackie! That means a lot to us. We are thankful and lucky we get to do what we do and can share it for others to enjoy as well. Thank you so much and thanks for watching!
Amazing video and couple.I had surgery on my shoulder and got behind on the videos but im benging them now.I loved the coffee and beats and cute little towns.Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
I was looking for a traveling channel on exploring Canada and making road trips in the future. Boom !! I found yours the best. love your videos and I would recommend it to my friends and family ❤
Not sure If y’all get paid for these videos but y’all should. I’m so happy y’all invited us into your travel journeys. Y’all inspired many trips. Btw shoutout to Kona😂
We do earn money through ads on RU-vid for all of our videos, but only a handful are sponsored by the destination. We're happy to hear we've inspired some trips! That's one of our main goals
I have followed your Alaska adventures, great to see it end with a great experience for you and a wonderful video for your viewers!! Thanks for the trip....
Thank you for sharing your trip to Alaska. It brought back many great memories of when my late husband and I were there. It truly is one of the most beautiful places on earth!
Well done, im definitely adding Hyder to my Alaska roadtrip, was already planning on staying at dawsons creek then coming back on cassiar, but your video confirmed confirmed it. Love the bears, especially Runner, lol. Cool trip
Such a grand finale to your North of the Border adventures, wow! Loved seeing the bears as you did too. Scenery is to die for up there, thanks for taking us along!
Outstanding. Just outstanding. Really enjoyed this. You two do such a great job w video and explanations of your stays. Educational and helpful. Your inspiring. I'll keep watching. Thanks and safe travels. S&N in OH.
Man it is so beautiful there. And if I were there I probably fishing salmon all the time. Thanks for showing us around Alaska and Canada. It was the best adventure ever. Take care and see you on the next one ✌
Hellooooo! Thanks for sharing all your travel adventures. I have done the same trip twice, once on my motorcycle, and once in my truck camper. I didn't make it to Tuk because the road wasn't completed when I was in Inuvik, and I didn't go to Stewart/Hyder, but I have been to almost all of the places you have shared. By watching your videos I have learned that since I travel solo, I missed a lot of interesting places, but maybe next time.................. I enjoy your videos for several reasons, one important one is I get a different perspective of the places I have been. I have a family connection to the NWT, Yukon, BC, and Alaska, as my Grandfather, Father, and a cousin all spent a lot of time working in those areas. My Grandfather was part of the Klondike gold rush, my Dad worked in the oilfields in the 40's, and my cousin worked in the oilfields in the 70's. I also worked in the oilfields of northern Alberta and BC in the 70's. On a side note, on my motorcycle trip down the Cassier, with two other riders, we saw about 30 bears between Deese Lake and Smithers!
Wow that's awesome you were able to do it twice! We can't wait to do it again. That's neat about your family connection to the areas! From what we've heard with the increase in traffic on the road the bears have moved away from the road, but you can still see many bears if you're lucky! Thanks for watching!
@@AdventuresofAplusK You may be correct with the traffic theory. In 2015 on the motorcycle trip we saw tons of wildlife, numerous cow moose with their babies. When I did it in 2017 in my camper, I didn't see nearly as much wildlife. I thought it was odd, because both trips were about the same time of the year. Sooo, traffic....???? Maybe so. Please continue sharing your adventures, as I have become a faithful follower. We are similar because of our travels and life style. My motto is: Don't dream your life, live your dream! Y'all seem to be doing just that, congratulations! Someday you should google Americas Great Loop. It is a different trip I have taken. I lived on my sailboat for a year, and traveled 7,000 miles on her! When you get tired of the road, you might consider doing that trip. Happy sails! heh heh heh
Another beauty! Water is just gorgeous!! Drone footage is so fabulous! Love the views! Kona is having a blast too!!! Oh my goodness Momma and 2 babies!!!!! Lots of pretty kitty cats too! Take each adventure as it's on special place in time that you are blessed to experience and hold in your hearts and minds forever. SO FREAKING COOL THAT BEAR CATCHING A SALMON!!! Great footage, I mean fantastic!!!! Love the frolicking bear spotted in the water while driving along the road too! Wow such a treat! What a lovely lake you have! haha! Keep dancing y'all!
Fabulous!!!! Thank you so much for bringing us along this wonderful adventure. I thank you for the terrific production of your videos. Each video is better than the last and always completely enjoyable. Great wildlife! 🌻🐕🥰
Wow! These last two videos were beautiful! You guys are just so lucky to be able to experience such unique and beautiful places. The best part is that you take us along! Plus the bonus of the bears enjoying a swim and a meal. Thanks for sharing!
I kinda think this was my favorite of the Alaska stops. I felt like I was right there !! It’s all so spectacular and I thank you so much for bringing to us.
You guys are great 👍👍👍 ! Thanks for the informative and enjoyable videos ! My wife Janelle & I hope to retrace some of your Canadian Travels on our motorcycle in 2023 ! Keep up the great work - safe travels in 2023 ! Scott & Janelle Boise, Idaho, USA, Earth 🌍🌏🌎 ! Your passion & enthusiasm for travel is definitely contagious ! 🌎🏍️😎🌏🏍️😎🌍🏍️😎
thank you once again incredible scenery an photos. what a summer you had to experience both sides of the canada us border. much enjoyed by all of us. note that your well on your way to TX seeing that it is now October. be safe on your journey home and enjoy when you arrive.❤🐻
Thank you for doing such a beautiful showcase of where I live. I recognized so many places, but I now have the Gitwangak Battle Hill site on my bucket list. And maybe camping at the top of the Salmon Glacier!
W.O.W.!! What a way to end your final days in Canada and Alaska!! Bear, and bears, and bears, oh my! Glad you took that "detour" to Hyder! So in that hour you were watching Runner, about how many different salmon do you think he tasted? Thanks again for sharing such a spectacular summer adventure with us!!
Wow, this is a wonderful video. on my bucket list is travelling to Alaska via the Alaska and back via the Cassier. i want to go to Stewart/Hyder in the panhandle. Been overseas 26 times, Greg, Springfield, Louisiana. thanks guys!
Nice to see that you took your time going through Canada. So may seem to blast through Canada in their rush to get to Alaska then blast their way back to the US. The provincial parks along the Cassiar are something to behold. More wildlife to be seen as well. Looking forward to our trip to Alaska this year. It will be our 5th time. Departing MD end of April & back into lower 48 early September. Don't know what it is about the North but it keeps drawing us back.
Canada is so spectacular! We would have loved to have spent even more time there. There is a lot we missed! We can't wait to do the trip again as well!
You just keep on bringing the scenery! I have so enjoyed living vicariously through you guys this summer. Thank you for the wonderful trip. Can't wait to see where you'll take us next...
