Top 3 reasons I love watching A + K: 1. I love your adventurous spirit in everything you do. 2. I love seeing the joy as you experience new things. 3. I love the variety of thing you guys do. (hikes, bikes, boats, backpacking, history, food, sunsets.... ) Thanks for a great year of adventures! Looking forward to watching in 2023. ❤
It was soooo nice to hear you say that Nebraska was one of your biggest surprises! As a lifelong Nebraskan, it's not often we hear about our state as a positive. We're really proud of our state - but we also know that it's not for everyone!!
My boyfriend and I first discovered your RU-vid channel because of your visit here locally in Pismo, and we've been watching ever since! Here's to a new year with great content and I hope you guys come back to the Central coast soon!
Thanks for all the great videos this year. Can’t believe you’ve never been to my home state (Mass.). In mid April you can catch the revolutionary battle re-enactments. ❤❤ for all the sweet moments.
Discovered you two earlier this month, & have been binging ever since! It's like re-living my marriage: he was 5 years older, we had a dog, lived on the Kenai Peninsula for awhile, then the high desert of CA, had a camper & traveled the country to Maine & back. After 10 years of marriage & me turning 30, we figured it was time for kids, so we had 3 in 4 years! It's the most personal decision ever, & those 1st 10 years of travel were great -- however, now looking back from almost 70, the most spectacular destination was ... parenthood. And, p.s., there's no "perfect time". Looking forward to more of your adventures, whatever they may be! 😉
Oh how crazy! It's funny how people can follow similar life paths! We still torn on parenthood and yes there is no "perfect time", but we're sure that now is not the right time. Thanks so much for watching!
As someone who lives in the Central California area (Lompoc) I am honored you love the area so much! May your travels lead you back to enjoy more! I myself was very impressed by your 2022 travels and I hope to go back someday to Oklahoma and visit some of the places you explored!
Wonderful video recapping an amazing year. I have shared this with you all before but you are so dear to me and help me make adventures happen for my family. I am partially blind and planning trips can be a challenge but you and your videos allow me to to so much much easier. This year we followed yout footsteps and visited. Redwood, Lassen Volcanic, Pinnacles, Channel Islands, Joshua Tree and Dearh Valley National Parks. I used each of your videos to get a sense of the park and where to go. All were amazing. One highlight to share would be our time at Channel Islands. We hiked from the docks to Potato Harbor Overlook and back (roughly 7 miles) in the rain. No problem for my wife and I really but our 9 and 7 year old daughters were amazingly strong for 4.5 of the miles were done in the mud of Dyatamacious Earth. This mud would stick to your shoe about a half inch and collect another half inch with every step. Unitil you had like 6ish inches collected. It was like hiking in platform shoes. It would get too heaby for itself and then fall off. It was like hiking with ankle weights. Wet, cold and an unvelievable effort to move I expected the girls to breakdown, give up, ask us to carry them aback and swear to never hike again. Yet they never complained, perveviered and left as my heroes
Wow that comment makes our week! We're so glad we could play any part in helping you and your family travel and experience this wonderful world! That hiking experience with all the mud sounds pretty brutal and Kathryn and I would probably get annoyed too so we give props to your daughters for being so tough and taking it in stride! That stuff is all part of the adventure and it sounds like they welcome that. We're so thankful and lucky we get to do what we do and share it with others and it makes even better that it can be a resource for someone and provide enjoyment. Thank you for your kind comment! Happy New Year to you and yours!
I've been a fan since I discovered you in 2020. All your hard work is a real gift to the world. Thanks for giving us access to such amazing locations. I love the mix of history, geography, and food. You shine!
So glad you found some gems up in our area! My husband and relocated to Redding, CA from Sacramento about 10 years ago. We love our small town and enjoy so many of the outdoor adventures that are here or very close by! Hope you come back soon!!
Agreed, best day trip - Pismo Beach in our backyard & frequent it regularly. Last week - Monarch Butterfly Grove with thousands migrating this time of year. Come back for another visit!
Happy New Year!! My son and I have loved following along with you on all your adventures this past year and are excited to see what you have planned for 2023 ❤
A & K, THANK YOU for all the inspiration to LIVE life to the fullest, NOT be afraid and to adventure full-heartedly into the unknown. We are finally finishing our van since purchased 9/2020, working full-time then, and now finally retired just this year, we discovered you when you were building your van and have followed you since. Thank you for being such shining examples of how to live your dreams. We look forward to retracing your footsteps, travels, hikes AND delicious discoveries!! We truly love you two. Happy travels and seriously, THANK YOU AGAIN!!!
Oh that's so awesome! Y'all are ready to hit the road it sounds like! We hope y'all love it as much as we do! Thank you so much for watching and for your very kind comment! 💗💗
We have been watching your channel for the last few years and enjoying it greatly. It's obvious you put much time and effort into the making of each episode and it is appreciated! We prefer quality over quantity but you are able to do both, packing in a lot of wonderful content. It is nice to see the local cuisine included in the places you visit and would love to see you find an occasional vegetarian/vegan restaurant. We are hoping to visit some of the places you show on your channel and because we are vegetarians it would be nice to know about good places we can eat. Thanks for the awesome videos! Looking forward to what you have in store for 2023! Stay well. Love you both!
Thank you so much for watching! We don't tend to seek out or look for vegetarian or vegan places because that's just not how we eat. Kathryn has some food sensitivities especially to a lot of ingredients that are in those kind of meals. Many of the places we visit do offer options for everyone. Sorry we can't help much in that way of eating! Thanks again for watching!
@@AdventuresofAplusK Yes! Many people have food sensitivities no matter what kind of meals they are. Unfortunately, many vegetarian/vegan selections offered in restaurants and stores today are highly processed and include chemicals to make them palatable. But you never know, you might come across a place that serves delicious plant based foods as nature intended. We will keep watching to see if you do. Happy Travels!😀
This is terrific! I probably think that because we lived on the Central CA coast for 20 years, we now live in Bend, and we honeymooned on Vancouver Island. Thank you for taking us back to all these wonderful places.
Been watching you two for many many years. The hands down best travel videos available. You both work so hard to produce amazing content. Thank you! Happy 2023!
What a magnificent adventure 2022 was! I can't wait to see what 2023 has in store! I have a long road trip planned next year with so many ideas from your videos. Here's to an adventure filled 2023! 🥳☺
Great year you guys had and it was so fun watching you do it! You both enjoy the same activities and are so respectful of one another that it is a joy to see. You are among my top RU-vid channels and very inspirational. I live in Northern California and I’m so fortunate that I’m here so many of the amazing parks that you talked about as your top choices I was able in my Solis van to get to eight of the national parks this summer, including Utah’s mighty five, crater lake, and channel island. My goal is to get them all if possible. I wish I was young enough to do the backpacking and high mountain hikes that you do. looking forward to seeing all your adventures next year.
You live in an epic area! We're excited to get back there one day to explore more. Good luck with all your adventuring. Thank you for your kind comment and thank you so much for watching and supporting us!
Oh my the places we have enjoyed thanks to all your hard work. But the best part is the fun and joy that you guys experience and shine forth for all of us to see. Thanks so much for being who you are and for all you do and allowing us to share so much with you. Many blessings for peace, love, fun, and adventure in 2023.
Just finished watching all 66 episodes of 2022 (spread over a couple weeks) and enjoyed them all. What an undertaking to spend the whole year on a single trip. All were wonderful but the trip to the Arctic Ocean was something else! Really appreciate all the hiking you do and scenery you show.
Love you two, 2023 go for a better work life balance....you only need to post once a week for 10 to 15 mins. Bank shows and take more time off to relax. HAPPY NEW YEAR
Very fun video! I haven’t watched Alaska or the Arctic yet, but I’ve seen all of the rest of the year, so I remembered many of these favorites of yours. I have to say that your favorite surprise locations were exactly mine also. I’m so grateful that you’ve introduced me to Oklahoma, which I never would have given a thought to before, and now I’d like to visit Oklahoma City. And my other favorite surprise was Nebraska! I have always been curious about it, and now I’m definitely going to go there! Thanks again for all the fun and inspiration you provide!!
That was a great recap video of your 2022 adventures, thank you for bringing us along on your journey. You asked for ideas for your remaining seven states. For Delaware, may I suggest: Camping, Hiking & Kayaking - Lums Pond State Park - Trap Pond State Park - Killens Pond State Park Museums: - Hagley - Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library - First State National Historical Park Places to Eat: - Helen's Sausage House (order the one-on-one or sausage sandwich) - Capriotti's - (order the bobbie) - TenderBones Rib Shack - Woodside Farm Creamery - UD Creamery
I'm so glad you guys mentioned my town of San Luis Obispo. It certainly is a beautiful place to visit and there is so much to do here if you have the time. If you ever come back, take the time to visit Hearst Castle (used to work there). It is a magnificent place to visit.
Love your recap of 2022. I know a lot of work goes in to what you do and I thank you for taking me on your journeys. I love that you include the journey, parks and hiking, AMAZING photos / scenery, history, experiences, urban and rural cultural actives and food...and of course your quirky dances. How you get all of that in to one amazing video each week amazes me! Kuddos to you. Because of you two, I now take my grandsons hiking and LOVE it. I am a fellow Texan but looks like I'm going to be checking out our neighboring Oklahoma! Happy New Year - I'm excited for your overseas journeys. Can't wait to see where you are going. Safe travels in 2023!
Thank you so much for your kind comment, Elizabeth! That's awesome to hear you take your grandsons hiking! OK is definitely worth a visit! Thanks for watching and happy New Year!
Cool to see Redding area figured so prominently. Have followed your travels ever since you visited our area. Lassen is our beloved, primary park to visit and Yaks on the 5 a special treat we go to every other month ... for The Garlic Obsession Burger of course. Glad you got to see that awesome view of Mount Shasta from Castle Crags. Burney Falls is another highlight around here. You're going to love some of the hikes within Lassen that you missed this time. Kudos on your most excellent production on these videos. They're first rate!
The Redding area was a big surprise for us. It's pretty epic out there. We've very excited to get back to Lassen one day and see what we missed! If we lived in the area we would be at Yaks way too much! 😂 Thank you so much and thanks for watching!
When you visit NJ, its super underrated. Obviously the food will be a big part of your visit but there is some unique natural things as well. 1. Franklin and Sterling Mineral Museums to largest variety and concentration of fluorescent minerals in the world, you can also collect them. 2. Hike up Mt. Tammy at Delaware Water Gap. 3. As you drive to NJ, you'll likely pass by Rickett's Glen State park in Pennslyvania, one of the largest collection of waterfalls in the entire northeast, you can double up on the waterfalls with Bushkill falls 4. If you go up the south then a Jersey shore town like Avalon with its soft white sand 5. Appalachian trail near Vernon NJ 6. Palisides Hikes near the George Washington Bridge with Epic views of NYC Now for food 1. Pizza: Papa's Tomato Pies and De Lorenzo Tomato Pies, which are both rated as top 50 pizzerias in the world, and within 10 mins driving of each other, in addition to these you have several others listed on top 50 and top 100 lists including santillo 2. Bagels: essentially any place 3. Pastrami from Harold's Deli for the largest sandwiches you'll ever see (one sandwich can feed a family) 4. Indian Food, but something called Chaat (snacks in hindi), easiest to find in place like Edison 5. Korean Food: one of the largest concentrations of Korean Americans is in NJ, go to one of the grill/hot pot places Have fun.
Our family had a blast watching your videos this year! Thank you so much for the fun and informative way you guys put these videos together. We are familiar with Iowa and would love to give you some suggestions!! 1. Iowa is famous for their SUPER delicious Maid-Rites. Marshalltown's "Taylor's Maid-Rite" has the best ones (truly, no others compare), and we highly recommend going in and eating at the counter. It's a really fun experience to enjoy with the local farmers! We can't ever just eat one Maid-Rite though, so be prepared! :) Their Rootbeer shakes are also amazing (as I'm sure all of the other flavors are too!). 2. Up in Mason City, there is a great museum called "Music Man Square" honoring the film "The Music Man." They have a charming old-fashioned town inside with a super yummy old-fashioned ice cream parlor! The museum is adjacent to the home where Merdith Wilson (the author of "The Music Man") grew up. Spoiler Alert: Mason City is the real "River City!" 3. If you find yourself in Des Moines, a tour of "Better Homes and Gardens" would definitely be worth it! 4. We drove through Ledges State Park, in Madrid, Iowa, and it is beautiful! We enjoyed getting to drive through some of the little streams and then getting out to explore for some hiking! It's a unique and fun experience. Hope you guys have a blast there!! We love it!
We'll be flying in to Iowa for a very big event 🚲 so we won't have our van and will be limited to what we can do. Thank you for the recommendations and thanks for watching!
What a year you three have had!! So happy for you guys, that you were finally able to make it to Alaska AND the Arctic Ocean! You guys are great. Thank you for every single video and article you create. Think I've been a subscriber since 2020 and constantly find myself coming back to your videos and articles (hope you are able to put together some posts for Wisconsin on your website soon ☺). Watching your channel grow each year has been a blessing. Keep going, you're doing AMAZING. Cheers to another incredible year in 2023. And maybe please come back to Wisconsin for Kopp's frozen custard and Austin-fave Summer Moon in Kenosha! 😍
There's a Summer Moon in WISCONSIN?! We had no idea! They're actually in many states now...what the heck! We love when our favorite places grow, but dang, we loved it was a special treat when we came home. Oh well....it's so dang good! We remember going to their original locations here in Austin not too long ago. We'd love to come back to Wisconsin! It was awesome up there! Thank you so much for your support by watching, commenting, and visiting our website! It means a lot to us!
"Every state has cool stuff!" - Kathryn. YES!!! And I'm so glad you shared your 2022 recap that highlights lots of that cool stuff - thank you!!! Your travels here inspired me to visit the Oregon coast, Redding, Lassen NP, Pinnacles NP, Channel Islands NP, and Dutch Bros on my summer vacation this year!!! Had to reroute our planned stay in Bend to Grant's Pass (really wanted to visit the last Blockbuster there, too!) and couldn't get to Channel Islands either, which I do plan to visit in the future! I visited Death Valley NP a few years ago and also fell in love with its unique beauty. So, do you happen to have a tally on how many miles you hiked in 2022 (actual planned hikes)? That's gotta be a BIG number, too!! Thanks again for inspiring us and sharing your adventures. Loved the Star Wars lightsaber sound effects in your blooper reel. For 2023, you've got to check out Field of Dreams in Iowa and Cape May in New Jersey. Both touristy, but fun to experience. Happy New Year and Safe Travels to you in 2023!!!
That is so awesome to hear! We're glad we could inspire you to check out some gorgeous places! We thought the lightsaber sounds matched up pretty well too! 😂 According to our AllTrails we hiked 443 miles this year! 😱 that's crazy! And we didn't even track EVERY SINGLE hike! Plus all the walking we do just for every day stuff. We're hoping to see the Field of Dreams stuff, but we're going for a big event there 🚲 and won't have our own vehicle and for NJ, we're not sure if we'll do the coast yet, but Cape May is definitely one of the most recommended spots so far! Thanks, as always!
Loved the recap, I've followed you all since 2020. I live in Tulsa and was so excited that you came thru. I couldn't believe that you didn't ride the slides in The Gathering Place, even if it was crowded with kids, We love all ages to enjoy the park! Next time you MUST go to DoubleShot Coffee, the absolute best!!! Thank you for loving our state so much, the US is a beautiful place, every state has something to offer. I've run the Big Sur marathon and Lost Dutchman, starts in the Superstition Mountains and totally agree they are beautiful places. I'll be in Warwick,RI (already got a tip from a poster what to do in Providence) and Augusta, NJ in May, maybe we will cross paths? I vacationed in PEI as a teenager, loved Cavendish Beach. Happy travels!
Ya we thought it would look pretty weird being two grown adults with cameras around lots of kids...wouldn't be a good look. But we had a blast in Tulsa and all over OK! We're pumped for our upcoming travels in '23! If you see us out and about please say hi! Thanks and thanks for watching!
I have watched every video and thoroughly enjoy following you guys. I live in Morro Bay and work in San Luis Obispo, so I am happy to hear you guys enjoyed your time here. When you are back in this area, I would love to buy you guys dinner. Look forward to 2023 adventures! Rick
Just move back to Washington and hop the Coho ferry to Victoria and visit as much as possible. We’ve been multiple times. We’ve lived in WA for almost 8 years. When we lived in Dallas we flew up to Vancouver in October of 2002 and took the ferry to Vancouver Island and saw the Queen during her Golden Jubilee. It was awesome!
I discovered you two about a month ago. Your videos and overall content are outstanding. It's been so much fun catching up with your adventures. I'm 67 and Capital Reef, Mesa Verde, the million dollar highway, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Apostles Islands, Door County, Acadia are some of the destinations that my dear departed wife and I have in common with you. Thank-you for rekindling beautiful memories. Looking forward to your future journeys.
Wahoo.. Nebraska !! Also Channel Islands is one of my favorites.. great camping and hiking. Thanks for the recap, I have enjoyed your adventures and well done, fun videos.
Perfect music for the dancing montage at the end! Holy cow, did 2022 go by fast! Thanks for sharing all of your travels. I missed some of them, but I'm hoping to catch up over the next few weeks. When you go to MA, make sure to take Kona whale watching in Provincetown :) Happy New Year!
These videos summarizing your year and picking favorite places to explore and eat…always some of my favorite videos you guys make!! How neat to look back on such an adventurous and successful year- so sorry to hear about the burnout but I hope you can be proud of how hard you worked this year! It definitely shows with how much research you do behind the scenes to plan out such thoughtful itineraries, get beautiful visual shots, and provide the history of the destination! You’re my favorite RU-vid channel and you can bet I’ll be watching all of your videos in 2023!!
I wanted to thank you for making this video because my Mom and I stumbled on you both when we decided to take a virtual tour of the 63 National Parks. Of all the RU-vid influencers we a have watched, you were my Mom's favorite! We loved your adventures past and present. Yes, we completed our adventures of the parks in less than 3 months. Your videos we eagerly waited to be uploaded. This form of virtual travel was what we needed since we had health limitations. Sadly, my Mom passed away December 4, 2022. But what great memories we made that are now in my back pocket. You two are in them. I have to play catch up now on your latest travels. Yet, I am looking forward to seeing you do more in 2023. Happy Trails to you both!
We're so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. We're glad you have those memories with her and we're thankful that we could provide a way to have those special memories! Thank you both so much for watching!
Looks like you guys are coming to Alabama this year. We are one of the most diverse states in the lower 48. From the mountains to the oceans you will love it. We would love to show you around some of our favorite places!!! Your welcome to Boondock in our yard we might even take you to catch some real fish😜
It was a great year for you guys, can't wait to see 2023! When you come to CT make sure you try Pepe's and Sallys pizza and let us know which you prefer. It's a hotly debated topic.
I made it in your video! It was nice meeting you at Scout Coffee in SLO. I’m so glad you both liked the county and Pismo Beach/Shell Beach (our home!). Come back and we’ll tour you around the other parts of the area you didn’t see 😊
You all have had a wonderful year. The mileage was more than enough to circle the Earth. We’ve followed you since your time at New River Gorge, Cumberland Gap, & Red River Gorge & your channel has grown so much. It’s almost like watching you grow up. Keep up the good work. PS: Adam is that my hat you’re wearing?🤔🎄
Thank for the journey summary; i followed you for all of the journey. So many amazing places to pick from; I currently work about 3 blocks from Coneflower Creamery in Omaha .. so appreciate the added incentive to visit it having your great approval. I also lived in Eugene, Oregon for a few years and made frequent trips to Bend in the summer .. and i agree of its livability (though it seems more metropolitan in my recent visits) lots of memories in Drake park and outdoor places near there on many hiking adventures, and also, before that, a former resident of Austin for 15 years (UT Masters grad) .. always like to hear about your Texas connections as well. thank you again, esp. the Alaska scenes, and looking forward to your next chapter(s)!
So happy you included these epic bloopers! WHERE DID THE YEAR GO? We’ve watched every episode of the journey and can’t believe how time has flown! Thank you for taking us along to these incredible places! Happy New Year looking forward to where you will bring us next! ~Cara 😊
Thank you so much for taking us along on your adventures this past year. It was amazing to follow your travels to Alaska and see the wild animals, beautiful mountains and glaciers, and historic sites. Your stops in the lower 48 on your way home have given us ideas of places to visit (we live in Missouri). Thanks for all your hard work. Your videos are top notch! (PS We're going to Hawaii in February so I've been reading your travel blog and watching older videos. Thanks.)
We're thankful and grateful we get to do what we do and are able to share our adventures for others to enjoy! Thank you and thanks for watching! Ooooo! We are very jealous of that trip! We hope our posts are helpful and if you have any questions, please send us an email!
I used to live in the OKC area and I miss Cafe Kacao SO MUCH. Nothing beats it and I’m so happy to see that you all enjoyed it and all the other yummy food in Oklahoma 💗
Thank you for what you do! I’ve binged every video from the beginning since August and just finished! Y’all are the best! Can’t wait to see where 2023 takes you!
We had some clam chowder in Pismo Beach because of your video. It was awesome and we enjoyed following some tips you gave in the video. We really enjoyed that town while visiting our granddaughter who is in college in SLO.
Yay for tanking in Nebraska! Nice to hear you also ate a Runza. Iowa: I like biking the Wabash trail in autumn. It’s like a tunnel of beautiful leaves. Or in spring so many birds singing different songs. It’s 56 miles rails to trails.
Nebraska was so much fun! We'll be in Iowa for the big bike event and won't have our van so we'll be limited on what we can do. But that does look nice!
My family loves your videos! We watch them at dinner time together, so thanks for keeping them family friendly as well! We used your Portland, Maine and Acadia videos from last year to help us with some stops on our New England vacation this summer. Now we're rewatching some northern CA ones to help with next year's vacation! You guys had an epic year. Looking forward to next year! My wife loves it everytime you stop at a coffee shop, and I'm partial to the BBQ joints you detail, so keep those up!
Oh that's so cool to hear! Be sure to check out our website as well! We can be much more detailed and provide more recommendations on our guides for locations than we can in video a lot of times. It definitely was a crazy epic year! We'll keep the coffee shops and BBQ joints rollin in '23!
CONNECTICUT TIP: We were blown away by Hartford when we passed through coming home from Acadia N.P. This summer. I wish we had been able to explore. The capitol building is stunning!! We passed a coffee shop called Story & Soil - don’t know anything about it beyond the name, but was intrigued. Samuel Clemens apparently hailed from there (who knew?). Seems like a city of surprises.
As I write this we are watching your Vermont vlog :) We ration out your adventures because we never want to run out!! But let's be real....we are not above a second or third watching! THANK YOU both for all the hard work behind the scenes that make your travel and adventures so accessible and immersive for us. I can't wait to travel and use your recommendations, and go to some of your favorite pics of 2022. Rock on in 2023, we'll be on the edge of our seats to see where you go next!! Sending love and appreciation to you both and to Kona too
You guys! Best channel hands down. I had so much fun watching, looking forward to the coming year. We finally have our truck and getting our 5th wheel in the spring then we'll be out there too! Here's to 2023 😃
Wow! Incredible year! Thank you again for the recap and inspiring so many adventures. A few weeks ago, on my road trip from Michigan to New Mexico and back, I went to the Wichita Mountains and hiked both Elk Mountain or the Forty-Foot Hole. Water was gushing at the latter, which I had fun showing to the workers at the visitor's center on my phone. I also ascended Guadalupe Peak to get to the top of your state! Some things I found that would be suggestions for you: Capulin Volcano National Monument in New Mexico (short hike around the rim and into the vent of a volcano), Black Mesa (high point of Oklahoma, which is probably the best-marked 8-mile trail of all time... and kind of easy), and Lincoln Home in Springfield, Illinois (I had a personal tour thanks to -8 degrees F in Springfield that day). Next year for me is kind of like yours in that I want to finish off the states. I only have Oregon and Idaho to go, and you've given me plenty to study from those states! And then I love eastern Canada and I haven't been back since my Prince Edward Island trip in 2018. So this year, I want to see Newfoundland and the Cape Breton Island part of Nova Scotia. My suggestions from eastern Canada: red sand beaches in PEI, the 270+ kilometers of rail-to-trail bikes paths in PEI (www.tourismpei.com/what-to-do/outdoor-activities/confederation-trail), Fort Beausejour in New Brunswick, the tides on the Bay of Fundy, Quebec City (my favorite city in North America outside Michigan), Point Prim Lighthouse, and the entire feel of hanging out in Charlottetown, PEI (birthplace of the Confederation!). Looking forward to everything you have next in 2023!
Epic road trip! Guadalupe Peak is a really fun hike! That volcano hike in NM sounds fun! I don't think I've heard of that one! Oh man you saved some of the best states for last! That's going to be awesome! What a way to finish We're so stoked for eastern Canada! Those look like some awesome recommendations. We'll definitely look into all of that. Not sure if we'll make it Quebec City, but it's been on our list for a long time. It looks amazing! Thanks and thanks for watching, James!
Thank you! For sure, going to Oregon and Idaho will not be a "check the box" kind of trip. If that weren't enough, I'll also finally be in Washington in a non-work context. You should be stoked for eastern Canada! One more thing I love about eastern Canada: it's not nearly as popular as it should be - which is perfect. Can't wait to hear the 2023 plans!

Wow! Thank you so much for all the suggestions, Lisa! We'll definitely look into all of them! We of course won't be able to do it all, but we're excited to visit! Thanks again!
You mentioned my town, Redding, several times. I probably take our area for granted. It is beautiful. Loved all your adventures in 2022. Gave me some great ideas for 2023. Thank you for sharing.
I discovered your channel when you did the segment on Redding, my home town! You did such a great job covering the area and I'm so happy it was a highlight in your travels. Thanks for taking us on all of your amazing adventures! Wishing you the best in 2023!
I love that y'all picked the Central Coast/Pismo as your favorites as I grew up there. It is my absolute favorite place ever!!! Love watching you guys!!!
When you go back to Alaska and visit Valdez, some great grayling or dolly varden, think same fish but different names in the rivers around there. Worked for NOAA on research ships up there for 3 years. Worst summer I only got 1 halibut (212 lbs), chief steward got a 350 lb one 😤 and 34 salmon smallest was 14 lbs. I really want to go back up there. Thank you for sharing your story! Have a great 2023
