Donkervoort have been building their own handbuilt chassis for over 40 years and to celebrate they made the D8 GTO 40 which is one of the craziest cars I've ever driven.

#1 find a better road #2 practice driving manual a bit more. I’m sure the car isn’t super easy to shift, but this is just hard to watch.

The Donkervoort is the best housing for the Audi 5 Cylinder, in my opinion ❣️😅 The new Donkervoort, F22 has 500 hp and is a little bit quicker than the D8 and I love the new design from the F22 👌🏼 Love from Berlin 🇩🇪 Ramsi 🙋🏻‍♂️

That chuckle laugh after hitting second and taking that left turn really made my palms sweat and make me smile as if i am actually driving and experiencing it hahaha. I can almost feel how bonkers it must actually be to be behind the wheel of it and engage the short grab of the clutch and feel the power.

Glad you had fun, its only as damgerous as you make it! Great to see that a less experienced driver gets the car. The good thing, it is fantastic if you are anything from a driver who can drive stixk competantly to someone like Randy Pobst.

It's a shame you couldn't test it on a track or decent mountainroad (without those American potholes) at speed because the car wasn't even close to the speed it is designed for. That's not the speed of light but just below that taking corners. For your comfort, a bit taller shifter would have been nice because you were struggling with its precision. As a Dutchman I am glad that you appreciated the car. For the people that think that the performance of a sportscar is measured on the quarter mile, go ahead but don't ruin a Donkervoort with heavy LS or JZ swaps.
