It always brings me great joy when decent people have good stuff happen. You've worked so hard on this channel & even through the pandemic you've become a brand ambassador and you've got a good sponsor. Amazing & well earned, Ped!
Congratulations on the tie up with HHC and wow on the cinematography Pete. A wise man once said “what a road, what a car, what a day.” I’d like to add what a film! Genuinely next level…
Excellent I don't know what I enjoyed the most, the Ferrari soundtrack, your facial expressions, the beach at Widemouth, or the woods at Davidstow where I often walk my dog! Great watch thank you!
Wow! What can I say that hasn’t already been said?! Your hard work is paying off in spades, Sir Pete! As I have said before, it is all thoroughly well deserved! Proud to be one of your Peddlars, mate! Crack on, Peter! 👍🏻🥂🍾
There is something special in life when you turn up at a very nice hotel with a very special car and it is admired by none other than Gordon Ramsay who stopped his piece to camera to admire my car, not a Ferrari unfortunately. The view of the castle and car reminded me of that day. What a car and the blue sets it off superbly.
Pete, you are churning out high quality content on an industrial level. We appreciate your hard work 😓. Edit: The main characteristic of a super car is the ability to evoke emotions. You’re living the dream of Enzo Ferrari, he wanted the selected few who will ever drive his cars to think 💭 of racing and competition when at the wheel. Nice 👍
Another great video. What I love about PP is that he’s humble, honest and, thankfully due to a lack of ego, respectful of other people’s cars. Far better than the other flash harrys that buy and switch cars on credit with such frequency. Keep up the good work! Love the Cycle Sunday too.
Completely agree. He knows that the vast majority of us will never get near a car like that and gets the feeling across brilliantly. Too many car reviewers take it for granted that they often get to drive top cars.
Great video and it brought back some old memories of Davidstow. When I was a kid my parents took me to see a F1 race on that circuit in 1954. It was a terribly rainy day but I can still remember the sound of the cars bouncing off the trees. I can also remember getting very wet and cold. Typical Cornish summer weather!!!!!!!!!!
@@PetrolPed For a few years F1,F2,F3 and sports cars raced there. One claim to fame for the circuit was it was the first track at which Lotus won a F1 race. The main runway was used but also the perimeter road was used. We used to watch the racing in the wooded section parallel to the A39 with thousands of other locals. Very few emmets.
The collaboration with H&H Classics is a great idea as there is an army of people like me who enjoy programmes like Bangers and Cash and Secrets of the Transport Museum.
What a machine! Ur certainly one of the best reviewers out there, honesty and authenticity as well as factuality certainly shines through in your reviews! Hope to see a lot more cars like this 😍
Love this format and videography! Great news on another partnership with HH from my home county. Again, looking forward to the exciting content to come!
I absolutely love 488 pista's. I always loved the one owned by Phil Dixon of More than cars which he had in purple with yellow stripes done in peelable paint but I believe it's back to it's original red now. He did a brilliant road trip to Monaco in his. It's my dream car.. my bucket list 'want to drive one' car 🪣
Once again another great flogg and can I just say thank you for providing great entertainment through these harsh times you have helped me and thousands of others, love your new entro heres to a great future for your channel and when u hit 200k
Definitely next step up Pete and what a fantastic car, looks, sounds amazing. Hats off to the guy for letting you drive it. Looking forward to more feature Friday 👍
Wow Ped, you are literally flying. Mrs Pie and I are made up for you, you deserve this after all your hard work over the years. Good things come to genuinely nice people, top man 😍
I'm sitting Sunday afternoon settling down for your video and there in the background is Rough Tor in Cornwall and you say we are at Davidstow airfield, I can't believe it as this was where I learnt to drive 46 years ago! What a video and what a car. Good view at Widemouth too. Hope you had a good time at the Tintagel Hotel and not too hungover the next day. Look forward to the next one!!
now mate sorry missed loads of ya uploads been so busy getting back to work and my channel has gone a little crazy this year . started the Tt xr2 build one video did 35k views in one week . been blown away by the traction and really nice community I’ve seem to have grown. Do hope your well? . The sound of the down shift in that Ferrari sounds awesome.
Peter I picked your channel on the Dream Bike build and now I am addicted to your car stuff. Was that a case of bait and switch? You are cut for this RU-vid thing. Awesome.
Peter...you are moving forward as fast as that 488! Well done again on your new idea, new content and style...I’m starting to think Carfection as regards presentation...you won’t be long getting to 150K now! Drive safe...drive more! Richard😃😃😃😃😃
A very special day to remember Ped (for the viewers too), fantastic car and content, you make this filming biz look easy 😅. I'm now worried it won't be long before you get the call from Top Gear, along with Joe and Steph of course! Very well deserved, whatever road you take 👍🏻
Hi Sir Pete hope you and Mrs are well and safe and able to enjoy this weekend! What a car! What a video! Awesome new intro and outro for Friday’s new format. Also what wonderful news for you and the channel! This will bring so many awesome videos and new subs! Keep climbing that ladder Sir Pete! Thank you for sharing all this with us! Have a blessed weekend Sir Pete and peddlers!
Well done Pete. The link up with H&H should lead to some interesting videos! Visited their auctions in Buxton a few times. A great company. Quite a week for you!
Was fortunate enough to drive a selection of Ferrari cars around Mont-Tremblant, Canada for the day. Including the Ultimate Ferrari. All a were real joy and Pista was no exception!
Proper Guinness, so jealous! Love that color of car, excellent video. I am just not sure of the fun you can have on the road with such an amazing sports car, you would have to have a track day now and then.
Great to see everything coming together so well for you Pete…. Proves that hard work pays off… Keep it up and I hope you keep going with the cycling content as well 👍
Evening all, what a machine Pete lucky you getting a drive. Friday feature will be very successful I'm sure congratulations again Pete. That's twice in a week 👍
What’s not to like. Devon roads around Roadford Lake and Davidstow Moor, Cornwall. There was a Grand Prix at Davidstow in the 1950’s so you picked a good spot. 👍😎
The acceleration in that car is incredible and it is impossible to get over on camera just how savage the gear changes are. Sam STG gave me a short ride in
Great film Ped, was like watching a Hollywood blockbuster in parts! Very impressive. Everything about that Ferrari is spectacular, best start playing the Lottery again :-)
Congratulations Pete on new sponsor👍 Why did you not use bumpy road button (also known as the Schumacher button)? My Speciale is always in bumpy road and race👍😎 it’s a great set up.
Hi Ped Usually watch Friday evening, but arrived down in Cornwall to discover contractors have destroyed broadband infrastructure whilst installing two EV chargers!😂😂 Problem solved with trip to Tesco in Truro and purchased new data sim for IPad. Then what a surprise, opening one of your videos is like going to a gala presentation. That 488 in that colour OMG, and the soundtrack to die for. Then the news of H&H, well done my friend.🤗🤗🍷🍷
I bet the lads, in the blue van were talking. Vanlad 1 - OK! When we get out of the 30 mph limit, we'll surprise that Ferrari bloke and nip past him when he's least suspecting it. Vanlad 2 - Hehehe! Yeah! That'll be awesome. When you do, I'll flick the "V's" at him. Vanlad 1 - Yeah! Good idea. Just coming out of village. Vanlad 1 - Right. Here we go. Pete switches to "race" mode, drops down a couple gears and he's off. Vanlad 2 - Err... Why didn't you overtake it? Vanlad 1 - The Ferrari... Just vanished. One minute later. Vanlad 1 - Can you still see the Ferrari? Vanlad 2 - I thought I saw a blue flash. Vanlad 1 - Oh! Good. Where? Vanlad 2 - About 2 miles ahead Vanlad 1 - ............ 8-((... We can wait and catch a JCW Mini Clubman then.
"Out of body experience". I had one of those. Ford had a track day at Brands Hatch and I drove several cars down the straight at 100mph, My name was pulled out of a hat and I got to be driven by a Rally driver in an Escort Cosworth. Never again 🤢. Another great Video. Watch out "TopGear" you are about to be overtaken.
Wow that’s a special Ferrari and what an experience. We were trying to work out the roads you where on in Cornwall but you drove to quick past the road signs 😩
