Awesome. I was doing some snowy drifts in my GX in the abandoned K mart parking lot and the rear bias makes it pretty fun for such a tall vehicle.

Gave used GX 460s serious consideration when car shopping last Fall. I'd still consider one for a future purchase. A friend mentioned the GX as something that he wished that he had considered prior to purchasing his 4Runner due to the V8 and features.

What’s your impressions comparing your GX to a Rx450h? ( I saw you recently reviewed one ) We’re thinking of replacing our 2012 RX450h for a 2015-2016 GX in a couple years, is the GX smoother to drive ( transmission, suspension..), does the GX feels too big to maneuver?

This video doesn't really make those tires look good. A good snow rated tire is evaluated by acceleration without spinning, braking within a short distance, holding a turn, and simply moving the vehicle in the direction the tires are pointing. If your turning the steering wheel left and right to keep the vehicle going straight, then that's a failed tire.

I have the AT3 XLT on my Ram 1500 here in Co, I can pretty much drive in 2wd year round with ease. I only put it in 4wd when its really slippery as the tail wants to come around, yikes in traffic. They got 40k miles on them and tons of tread, starting to notice diminished snow performance, and have started making noise around 45 mph. But defiantly a fantastic tire on this 5800 pound truck, haven't been stuck yet.

I have these on my Quadra Drive 04 Grand Cherokee, almost as good as the winters I run and fantastic on wet pavement. Outstanding in the sand up north as well, I am also in Michigan.

I love the vids of your GX, but they're a little hard for me to watch. Though had finally found mine (2011, one owner, Premium, 79k miles, accident free), and after a 6 hour drive (under the impression it was being held for me), the dealer (Land Rover/Jag) sold it to someone else (while I was waiting for it to go through service). The hunt continues.....

@@watchreport They knew, and left me with the impression that it was mine. I first arrived near closing (after the 6 hour drive), and it was too late to do the paperwork (all those people were gone for the day), so I was told they'd have the paperwork ready for me when I came to pick it up the next day (after they were done servicing and washing it (it had just arrived)). It surely wasn't the type of shenanigans I expected from a new luxury dealer. I think one possibility is that an employee kept it for themselves......

It’s smaller than a Sequoia. It’s more akin to a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (which we don’t have in the US)

@@adobewanjerkobi an easier comparison would be the 4 runner, its built in the same 150 series platform as the land cruiser prado. The GX actually has a V8 so has the upper hand in most situations.

The sequoia is based off the Tundra and built in the USA. The GX is a slightly smaller Land Cruiser built in Japan.

Tried to find a clean, rust free 4runner or FJ and couldn’t. Glad I did because the GX is in another league with comfort and quality. But that said, just picked up a cheap 4th Gen V8 4Runner and probably going to sell the GX soon. Video coming on that hopefully this next week!
