Welcome to Episode 3 in our Oman Series, the one where Kim feels 'a little bit of puke in her mouth' as we tackle the most nerve-wracking mountain roads in all of Oman, but of course Del stays cool as a 🥒If you fancy an Oman road trip yourself, check out our travel guides and ready-made road trip itineraries over on the blog >>> www.goingthewholehogg.com/destinations/middle-east/oman/ Hope you enjoy the film! Glad to hear it, thanks so much! We would definitely recommend a trip to Oman (as I'm sure you've gathered by now!). Cheers for watching and appreciating : ) Kim
Thanks very much! Yeah, no green grass for a game in the mountains! And that village is famous for good reason, picturesque in the extreme. And yeah, no barriers on those roads, responsible drivers only 😅
We were there for 2 weeks in Feb '23, my 4th trip to Oman but the first time I had been in these mountains, it was breathtaking. Thank you for this video it has brought it all back. Love Oman, love the people and culture.
That’s great, thank you for the appreciation. Since this was your 4th trip, it seems you love Oman as much as we do. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks again 😃
Paul Cézanne said, “It is the artist's duty to be at one with nature.” I understand what he said as follows: “It means that in order to create a meaningful world, we should become one with nature. Given the process by which inner essence of yours and nature become one and with the passage of time, the journey in which more diverse processes are harmonized in an orderly way, two of you definitely show the process of systematically creating A WORK OF ART even in Oman, centered on your life philosophies. So, I actually look upon all the most attractive videos about your travels as THE MOST INCOMPARABLY STRIKING WORKS OF ART! Why don’t you try to offer all your videos to the broadcasting stations in the UK to broadcast nationally? (From Seoul) P.S.: I also posted what I felt up to SHORTS VIDEO of yours.
Once again, what can we say!? To be mentioned in the same breath as Paul Cézanne is an honour, and we wholeheartedly thank you for your appreciation of our work. Hopefully we can reach a wider audience in the future through a variety of ways and on different platforms. Saw your comment on the Short and replied 😃… thanks again!
Hi, you can drive around to it on the road most of the way, then it's off-road on a wadi track for a short section. You can drive as far as this point 23.210578, 57.385617 then walk to the pool, it's about 5 - 10 mins walk
Hi Kim&Del, its a great video. its make me missing so musch to Oman,From those areas I visited jabal shams and bilad sayt, I cant wait another Oman video. to be honest, I am pretending you drive UAZ-Buhanka ( I following u since that 😁)
Thanks for some excellent footage of this fascinating country. I have visited Oman several times, although nothing as adventurous as your trips, and found it to be the most authentic and welcoming place in the Middle East by far. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for that David, very much appreciated. We would say that authentic and welcoming is a wholly accurate description of Oman, hard to think of two more appropriate adjectives. Thanks again.
