Finally! Someone who understands the spirit of Maserati. It's all about emotions. Those who keep comparing a Maserati to the German brands and say that the second ones are far better than the first one just don't get it. Maserati is not about technology but about elegance, timeless refined interiors and an incomparable Italian engine (assembled by Ferrari).

Silver N Black Mopar - I can buy a 73 Nova that can incinerate both the cars of topic for about 15 grand.. you still aren’t making any valid points.. and like I said your a fool already for comparing a Dodge to a Maserati... The entire suspension and drivetrain including all wheel drive system is all Maserati engineering. The entire chassis is designed by Centro Stile Maserati under Marco Tencone.. Interior design by Giovanni Ribotta, the Italian chief exterior designer at Maserati. Carlo Potzianti is the chief engineer for the vehicle and has worldwide credentials for his work. The luxury options including multiple high end hand stitched leather from Poltrona Frau to Pieno Fiore Natural cut leather.... to hand trimmed Ermenegildo silk inlays. I can go on and on but like I preciously said you have out debates yourself talking up a dodge because you are a typical internet hater troll

This is someone who understands. I have been driving my Ghibli for 3 years now and am about to upgrade to the latest model, I considered the Porsche 911, but then quickly remembered how much I love this thing. It really is a driver's car, the emotion of driving it is *everything*. The comment about the equipment being substandard is correct, but it's not noticeably problematic. The basic sound system is poor, but even as a music producer, I much prefer to listen to the engine. The design of the car itself is pure Italian elegance, something that the German brands can't match. It's a real head turner. I've had people walk in front of my car whilst at traffic lights and take a photo; you wouldn't get that in a Merc/Audio/BMW. I suspect I'll be with the Maserati brand for a long time.

I have a 2015 Maserati Quattroporte GTS 530bhp /710nm torque from a twin turbo Ferrari v8. You should test this Maserati as its their flagship car.

Most amazing car I've ever driven! Demuros made a ridiculous review, and it's been watched millions of times, so people have judged this car without ever even driving one. I have NEVER MET ANYONE WHO HAS DRIVEN THIS CAR THAT DIDN'T GET IT. Every guy I've let drive mine has giggled like a kid. It's an emotional thing that can't be defined but only experienced. As far as the tech, I agree that 2016 and older had an outdated screen but 2017 and current has all the tech that you need and more to be honest.

I got a Ghibli SQ4 2015 MY, trust me it drives better than the newer models thanks to the hydraulic suspension.. not a big fan of EPAS.. and I love it as is: no driver assist tech.. leave that to beginners!

I Love this car since it came out. It looks beautiful and sounds fantastic, i dont know any car with a more exciting exhaust sound. i would buy one instantly if i could afford it.

Beautiful sound, but just do not assume that their deisel versions have that sound, that's all. I wish they could offer it with a stereo delete so that I can buy some after market system. As a petrol head, I think the only electric assist anybody needs is just cruise control for super long trips, or maybe even not. Now THAT would be timeless.

The biggest problem is that guys in the US are a bit delusioned cause they have such different prices of cars and fuel prices like for example Europe. A full equipped gibli S is aboit 120000 euros in my country comparable mercedes cls53 amg about 135000 euros. Im us almost evvery car has more hp than needed cause the prices are super lov and also fuel. The ghibli sq4 is price wise competetive with the BMW 550i Cls53 amg audi S7.

Great view, but in reality the ghibli compares with the a7, 6 series, cls, not the e class, a6, and 5 series, because the ghibli is a coupe in 4 doors, like the a7, 6 series gc, etc. Plus the ghibli compares within those price points not the e class, 5 series.

Maserati gearboxes have a really (i think you know) bad rep. for this money you better buy a Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 510pk. Also developed by Ferarri and way better looking and performance.

BMW 4 SERIE Much Much Better and i used to own 2 Ghibli diesel and Petrol and one Lavente germain car is better and everything work maybe one VW Group will buy it .....
