Thank you so much. I really enjoyed this ride. It’s hard for me to imagine what Ireland looks like. It was fascinating to actually see it. Thank you !❤️☘️
Thank you for the tour on a beautiful spring day. The cerulean blue sky mixed with white puffy clouds and brightly colored buildings. Lots of folks out for an afternoon stroll.👍😊☘️
Wow this was fun! The city is so pretty. It's charming. I could never drive there. I kept leaning to the side of my chair because I thought oncoming traffic was coming too close to you, from the "wrong" side of the road 🙃.
@@SerenitySueGraveyards There's a road sign miles from the ferry port advising to drive on the left. I should imagine most drivers wouldn't have made it that far to read the sign if they were on the "wrong side".
Thanks for the drive Sue. It reminded me of when we went for our holidays .whenever we drove through one of the city's.towns or villages i would sing a song related to that place .ie the fields of Athenry. Raglan Road. Kelly the boy from Liiane.and so on .but unfortunatly ive never been to Wexford so while you were driving along i was singing there was an old woman from Wexford and in Wexford she did dwell.dammed if i can remember the rest..i enjoyed that but my long suffering Brother in Law who was doing the driving dident think much of ir. Take care ☘☘☘i meant Killane.
I have driven in Scotland and England, which was quite an adventure! I am older now and it makes me a bit dizzy to be on the other side of the road 😵💫😁
Hello again from the USA. A nice little town. Cars look the same as here, Commercial vehicals, trucks, busses look different, they have the Euro look. A dear friend of mine visited Ireland a few years ago, they LOVED it. He tried to drive there! Scared the cra**** out of him. Narrow streets. Didn't see no idiot drivers. Very strange seeing cars on the wrong side of the road!!
Oh we do have idiots driving here too, believe me, yes it's a nice little town, lots I couldn't show as most is pedestrianised now, very narrow street for sure
That's Redmond square, the monument is dedicated to the redmod family, One of the most famous members of the family was Home Rule MP John Redmond (1856 - 1918), who was an Irish nationalist politician. He is best known for having led the Irish Parliamentary Party and for achieving Home Rule for Ireland in 1914. I actually did a video on his mausoleum and cemetery is in John Street wexford.
Hi Sue. Thank you for showing us around Wexford. I was hoping you would go in via the bridge so I could recognise the place! I used to stay at Curracloe. The beach there is amazing.
I came in the wrong way so, I was hoping to go live one evening on wexford Quay, walk over the bridge but depends on Internet coverage x I love Curracloe x x
@@SerenitySueGraveyards Great idea. Let's hope the internet connection is good. I'll definitely be looking forward to that video 😊 Just an addition... I went onto Curracloe beach late one summers evening with a borrowed metal detector. It was almost dark. There were 2 women sifting the sand with those circular mesh things. I asked what they were doing. Earlier that day they were picnicking and had laid out a large towel to put the food on. One of the women took off her wedding ring and forgot about it until the blanket was shook free of sand. The ring went flying and was lost. After sieving the beach for nearly 4 hours they were about to give up and go home. I found the ring in minutes with the metal detector. The lady who lost the ring was so pleased and relieved that she was actually crying. I was hugged, kissed and blessed! Nice memories of Curracloe.
Ahh Colin, what a beautiful story, sometimes I believe we are sent to places to meet new people and to help, you made her day, week and she has never forgotten that moment x
Thanks for showing us around BEAUTIFUL Wexford!! How far is Waterford from you?! I would love to visit Wexford and Waterford, where my O'Connor ancestors come from!! Maybe one day, Sue!! XXXX
Very nice rides thru Ireland city. Hey who drives wrong side of roads Americans or you guys? We drive right side and you drive left side of roads. But no matter it is cool how you do it and I love how your turn signal sounds. Great video!
Wow,beautiful tour sue,Wexford looks like a great town to live in.Think I’d get confused after the first turn, this is exactly what I meant ,in addition to the cemetery walks ,occasionally a tour of the town ,see the interesting places, thanks once again ,a great effort ,take care, stay safe and well, regards to you both from ballarat in Oz,👏👏👏🇦🇺
Sue, Wexford is a lovely town. I must admit the driving on the left side of the road was a bit disorienting. I see I am not the only who had a problem with that. After awhile I felt dizzy and nauseous like I was carsick. Wasn't that weird?
Cool video of our home town . Lol I'm laughing at all the comments of cars on the wrong side , my American wife still feals this after living here a few years ... I will have this fealing next week as I'll be driving in America .....on " the wrong side 🤣"
@@SerenitySueGraveyards not easy ,it's like flipping your Brain over 🤣. Roundabouts are fun ..... Can turn right on red if safe to do so unless a sign says no turn on red ....can't turn left ..... On red ..... Oh and the whole drive on the other side thing ....can't forget that 🤣
