KT FAM! Glad you and Babe are staying safe. But listen there is no load or anything worth getting hurt. When you don't feel safe driving pull over. Everything can be replaced except you guys. So stay safe and God Bless. KTFAM....
Yup - it was crazy driving in that weather I was going down to Tennessee from Canada through Ohio, Kentucky etc. and once I saw the trees on the side of the road start freezing over I knew it was just a matter of time before I started seeing trucks and cars in the ditches, everyone just need to slow down and take there times in that kind of weather - a normal drive of 45 minutes took me about 3hr to travel just put your hazards on and relax :), thanks for the VLOG.
I've had to hook at an angle a couple of times. Oh, not that I recommend it but I've gone through some nasty conditions; tornado, white out, blizzard and downpours. Trust and believe that God was with me every inch of the way. But hey Kayla as always, thank you. I'm in Florida till maybe Wednesday near Orlando. Luv u (much respect 😉)
Had a load from IL down to texas ive been driving for years and i saw more trucks in the ditch in 24 hrs then i saw in all my years....yall be safe out there
That jack-knifed truck in your lane was extremely lucky to stay on the road. Glad to see you make it safely. Weather has been a son-of-a gun this year.
The red truck? He definitely got lucky to not go completely over the bridge. Seeing these accidents are traumatizing. Can’t imagine the feeling that the driver feels
Good traffic movement keeps road dry in tire traction marks. Always be grateful for the ones in front of you. Water splashing off tires means road not frozen.

I will happily stay out west in the Rockies and cascades in the winter. They don’t play. Plows are sitting and waiting, and if it’s bad enough they shut it down

Hey I think I saw you all picking up that UPS van trailer from Union Pacific (Marion,Ar). I was passing through there yard in the CN 2 engine train. Union Pacific is horrible at keeping their intermodal facility easily accessible for drivers.
Hello Kayla 😊 very good morning ☀️ how r u doing.. we all are waiting to see ur birthday video.. please upload your birthday video soon... We r so excited to see ... Oppss i don't know about others but I'm so excited... And ya my sister blessed with baby boy on 10th February... 🥰🥰
I don't recommend using the wipers to clean snow and ice from the windshield. You can easily ruin the blades by doing that then you have to get out and replace the wipers.
Wow big rig grave yard. Looks like you are driving slow and steady like you should. I have a new boat just completed in MA but I think this CA boy is just going to have it delivered to me by a guy use to driving in those conditions.
@@KaylaTaylorTrucking Yes he will get around 3K! Had another guy take a boat I sold from CA to WA. These guys work through U-Ship and they have pick ups and go back and forth across the country.
Which Railyard were you at in this video, Kayla? Was it Chicago, there in the Midwest? Also, when are the 2 of you coming back to U.S. Xpress as OTR Team Drivers? The Pay is Exceptionally Good!!!! Stay Safe out There, and Happy Trails, Kayla!!!!!!!☺
Mother Nature wasn’t playing there! So many accidents, some people just have no idea how to drive in snow. I don’t blame the drivers for not knowing how I blame the cdl training for not teaching at least in depth theory because whatever there teaching for some it’s not enough. Side docking - yes you can do it. When I ran aid convoys we used to pick up at docks and had to side dock all the time. It’s ok on the truck but the trailers really don’t like it as they aren’t supported by the trucks rails. If your in the situation where you have no choice but to side dock I’d call your company for permission then use as shallow an angle as possible Good to see you two cuties made it safe and sound through the horrible weather. The video ended a bit abruptly but was good Love you Kayla and Eliante
BACK IN 1988 I was known as the KING OF THE TRUCK STOP. I had a chair and if I caught anyone sitting in my chair there would be straight up repercussions…. I said straight up repercussions. I never paid for my meals. I always got a chump to pay, and if they did not pay they would pay another way. I loved the triple decker burgers. People used to try to get on my good side by buying me triple decker burgers but no one was on my good side. I also had a bathroom law. No one was allowed to use the last stall only I could. If I caught anyone there I would kick the stall down door. Back in those days the truck stops were like the Wild West. Friday night live band concerts in the truck stop . One Friday night I knock out the lead singer for pointing me out in the crowd and disrespecting me for my size. Back then I went by the name Big DooDoo because if anyone crossed me they would be in Big DooDoo. You young ladies wouldn’t be able to handle the truck stops back then. These days truck stops have too many rules. I could knock a person out and not get kicked out. These days cops would be called. Ya, you young ladies are in the soft era of truckin. Chow!
This is normal these are the ones that be speeding pass by you then you see them a couple miles ahead all crashed up, Take it slow the black ice don't play
Yup … Everyone seems to believe their truck sticks to the road like a magnet sticking to metal or they have some kind of magical powers , five trucks passed me and all those five trucks were in the ditch. When I feel my wheels slipping I simply get off the road if you drive on ice slow enough you’ll know When your wheels are starting to slip.
I agree with everything you said. I’m making another video talking about what happened to me because it’s true, drive at a safe speed that allows you to be able to control you vehicle if anything starts to happen.
Hey I was watching Shipping Wars and one of the truckers got stopped by a cop. The cop asked for a log book and he didn't have one. So he was stopped from delivering. My question is why have a log book? And if you do have a log book, couldn't you just make up the information?
Not gonna lie I saw the air fryer box I think it’s the exact one I snagged I was mid ohio took 30 across Indiana made it to almost Gary and my Fleet manager called and said the wind was blowing people off the road and cops were having people get off the road so he shut me down.
Yes, even the weather channel lady said, “I don’t know what it’s going to take to keep drivers off the roads”. I’m just thinking, maybe you should close the roads to keep them off lol
I wish y’all did not have to drive thru that it makes me so worried and scared..Love the scenery it’s pretty and that accident was bad..what truck stop were y’all at with all that Dunkin coffee on Eliante’s Instagram post?
