Wicked trail climb! Gimpys rig always impresses me. The little 900 that could! What a beast! Great vid!
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd Год назад
Thanks Russell! Gimpy’s rig is a testament to the fact that the Polaris RZR 900S models were some of the most capable, most reliable, and toughest machines in the entire SXS industry. Such a wicked platform! If you recall the older videos Super Greg had one for many years, the orange and black 900S. It was also indestructible… it survived sooo many rolls and sooo much abuse. It went through 3 roll cages, lol. Bang for buck it’s one of the best units out there. Gimpy’s machine and My RZR turbo are the two oldest and most abused units in our crew right now. Oh, and of course we can’t forget Fish’s OG Can-Am Commander, the Fish Tank. Honourable mention also goes to Tim’s Wild Cat 700 Sport. It’s awesome to see them keep pushing after all these years of trail abuse. There’s something to be said about having a machine for multiple seasons and continually abusing it year after year. Any machine does well when it’s brand new or a few months old, the true test comes with how they hold together after 5+ seasons of being thrashed. I know a ton of people watching love the fact we ride our machines hard and for a long time. The reality is, most people can’t afford to switch machines each year, it’s a long term investment. It’s not realistic to just trade in each season. Plus the driver forms a bond with their machine. I’m a huge believer in the fact that a machine takes on the personality of the person riding it and building it. I can’t get rid of the #BattleWagon for example, it’s become a part of me and a part of the #AdrenalineJunkieProd channel. That’s why I got a second machine but plan on keeping the RZR Turbo for many more years. What do you guys think about that? Do you agree or disagree?
@russflorek
@russflorek Год назад
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd I completely agree. Ya I remember super Greg climb those epic hills with that 900S. I love seeing these machines keep going. Definitely agree that we can’t afford a new machine so it’s awesome to see these rigs last and last. I’m excited to see your new machine. I like that it came with a winch and I know you’re gonna test that machine and give honest feedback on the rig. Much appreciated! Your channel is my favorite. Hogs back 2.0 is my fav video, I’ve watched that one at least 4 times. 👍🏼

@@AdrenalineJunkieProd 100% agree. I just upgraded to a Pro XP at the beginning of the year and I had a 2016 1000 S and it really hit hard that I had to sell it to make up some of my loses to afford my new rig. I’m not usually sentimental on things but that one hurt.

Hey Tim, glad you enjoy the comradery amongst the crew. It's ok if you butchered the spelling, lol. You aren't graded on spelling or grammar here. It's spelled Kseniia. I love making the long format videos and the next episode will likely be around an hour or a bit longer. For these long and eventful multi day rides breaking it up where it feels natural makes the editing much more manageable for me and I know a lot of people also find the shorter videos easier to watch. My plan is to keep mixing it up. Some videos just flow better as a longer edit I feel and others do ok in a shorter format. As you noticed, when I do the shorter edits I can release content more frequently. Happy to hear you enjoy the videos and thanks for giving Kseniia the credit she deserves for all of her hard work and dedication to the channel.

There's alot that seems to play into these types of terrain. Running a KRX through this stuff often seems like cake walk it seems. Low power backed up with the crawl modes just seems like the ideal rig. Running a short wheel base rzr like you guys do coupled with 30-32 inch stickies often surprises me as the short wheel base will often be a challenge but then often enough you guys just pop over and or around stuff. its awesome to watch. then you have me on a semi heavy long wheel base x3 on stickies and i either walk this stuff or for some reason its a challenge all the way lol. granted having run everything from easy to theres no way we should try this, like you have said its the driver mod.
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd Год назад
All excellent points man. Having a machine suited to the obstacle at hand plays a huge roll and when you partner that with a good driver it can make things look easy. The same machine with a novice driver can struggle. Then there’s a bit of luck too, sometimes it’s your day and you nail the right line first shot and other days no matter what you do things don’t go your way. Regardless, it’s a ton of fun and it’s always awesome watching the various machines and drivers hit the same obstacle so many different ways.

@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd Год назад
Ya, I understand your not supposed to have alcohol on the trails here. You likely won’t see me drinking or carrying booze on the trails. I’m not much of a drinker in general. What others choose to do is their decision though. I’m not a Karen and it’s not my job to enforce the rules. What I will say is that any consumption that goes on during the day here while riding is reasonable and in logical moderation. Don’t take my statement out context as me saying it’s ok or acceptable. I am not saying that. However, no one in these videos will be acting irresponsibly as a result of the alcohol. I’m sure many reading this have had a beer at lunch or dinner and then driven home. Life is about moderation and common sense needs to be applied. If the situation arose where someone was stopped and fined then the people in question would be respectful and accept responsibility for their actions. We are all adults. What your seeing here isn’t the problem, getting hammered and doing stupid things is the problem. It’s just another case of a few bad apples spoiling it for everyone and now as a result we live in a nanny state. I don’t support drinking and riding or drinking and driving. I know this response is odd but I don’t want people taking things out of context. You raised a legitimate concern.

First off great job wheeling UP a most difficult trail. As you know they are rated most difficult because of the difficulty going up not down. Pike's Peak is famous for man and machine attempting to go up it not down. I'm pretty sure I wasn't calling you out for necessarily going down the most difficult trails. I was calling you out for calling out SXSBLOG for going down yet in your very next two videos you do what ? You go DOWN black trails. If you watch their WR videos or even better go try those trails they hit I think you might reconsider calling them out next time. You make very good vids and I will continue to watch them but just do what you do and that might be best. Again good job and anxious to see your next vid.
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd Год назад
Hey man, first of all, stoked you enjoy the vids. I clearly stated the comment wasn’t made to ruffle feathers lol. It’s a friendly jab. We bust chops on the trail. We are a sarcastic bunch with thick skin. I dish it out and I can take it so I don’t mind when people lay into us. I never mentioned any names of channels when I made that comment you are referring to. I did that to keep it light hearted. You know what we are like, we love to push each-others buttons when we are riding and it keeps things entertaining. We are a very open and accepting group of people. Its obvious you can’t go up all the trails, sometimes you go down sometimes up. Anyways, all I’m saying is I doubt my comment would even register on their radar. They do things their way and we do things our way. I’m not into drama, so it’s best to not overthink the comment. Since we are on the topic though. As for the videos, the next one should win us back a few points for the hills we only went down, lol. Just to throw it out there though, I’m down to try any trails they have tried and i think if you Put us head to head on some technical trails our core crew could hold with most. What sets us apart at times is that we don’t go out Lookin to cause carnage and wreck stuff. Sometimes it happens but none of us are here claiming we are the hardest senders in the game. We just want to have fun with our friends. What we do have is a solid track record for consistency and reliability. In order for the machines to survive 3-4 full days of riding like this, at times we do have to be a little reserved and choose our battles. A Full send that’s 90% destined to end in carnage isn’t worth losing the rest of the trips riding over. So sometimes the winches come out or sometimes an obstacle is avoided. Especially when we are so far from home. Just figured I’d add some context.

@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd Год назад
I agree Tim. Going up or down can be a challenge and both are equally as fun. It's about variety and having a good time. No shortage of keyboard warriors though. Everything looks easy when you watch someone do it on camera. The stress also isn't there when you watch someone on camera, the person driving needs to worry about their machine not breaking so they can get back to camp, they need to worry about not hurting themselves or their occupants, they need to worry about the financial repercussions of one wrong judgment call having the potential to costs a few hundred dollars, or in many cases tens of thousands of dollars. They need to worry about the time it will take to fix it before the next ride or they need to worry about being able to ride the next few days if it's a multi day trip. The person behind the keyboard that thinks they know everything only has to worry about being an illogical troll, lmao. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it, if someone thinks all this is easy then film a video of you doing it, edit it to this production level, post a link, and show everyone how it's done. If you truly make it look easy and do a good job then I've got no issue giving you credit where credit is due and shaking your hand. But that's still not an excuse for being disrespectful about it. The reality is that the people spreading the most hate are the ones who should have the least to say. All the real riders out there aren't sitting here bragging or smack talking, they are chiming into the conversation with thoughtful and intelligent comments. Let the haters hate guys, I doubt you'll ever run into them on these trails, they just hide behind their screens, lol.

@AdrenalineJunkieProd Год назад
Bill has always been a good rider. He’s got a ton of years under his belt in the Jeep world. We give him a hard time and bust his chops but it’s all just friendly banter. He goes everywhere we go. Sometimes he chooses an easier line but he’s a reliable and reserved rider. He doesn’t believe in abusing his machine more then he has to. You’ll likely never see him broken down. However, what you said is true, he has gotten to know the KRX a lot more and like all of us who ride he’s constantly evolving. Even though we bust chops when people go around you’ll never hear us pressuring anyone to hit an obstacle they aren’t comfortable with. There are all sorts of Riding styles out there, some guys don’t care and just push the limit all the time others have different views on what’s worth trying and what’s better avoided. We are all having a ton of fun though and that’s the main goal.

Have you thought of doing a non-censored version on Rumble?
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd Год назад
I’ve thought about some stuff like that over the years. We joke about the Only Fans thing all the time. The truth is I struggle to keep up with the editing as it is. No way I could create additional videos uncensored. I also heavily rely on the ad revenue generated through RU-vid. It’s the only platform that pays creators even semi-decent. With that being said, ad revenues are weak and the channel doesn’t really generate much income in relation to how much time I invest. The reality of the situation is, it’s hard to stay ahead. I’m lucky I’ve managed to secure some other sources of income over the years which have allowed me to keep doing this but since I quit my full time job a few months ago and took this stuff on full time it has been tough. I’m still trying to figure out ways to generate income so I can keep doing this. There’s a ton more to running the channel and creating content then a lot of people realize.
@thatmuddyfnguy
@thatmuddyfnguy Год назад
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd Thanks for writing back. Well, they do pay creators over at Rumble now and they are looking for things that are not podcasts or news related. And is not just for big creators to jump over. Even if you don’t use it as non-censored version, you should put your videos out there on that platform as well. RU-vid has cutdown the money for creators they won’t have to pay you more if there’s no direct competition to them. You would be a big fish in a small pond with no direct competition over there. Compare to being smaller fish in a large pond here on RU-vid. I think if you start putting out your older videos out over there, and keeping the newest ones here out first until you build up a big audience big as over there. I think you should think about it, 2020 got as bad as it did because of companies like RU-vid that have a monopoly on the game.

@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 11 месяцев назад
Ya, those guys are hardcore. The difference in riding style is that when we go to HMT we cover a few hundred miles over the period of a few days. Wanting to cover that much ground and not run into mechanical issues does require a bit of a different approach. None of us want to break something an hour into the first day so you can’t hit obstacles as hard. We never claim to be the hardest riders out there. Everyone rides within their means. When you trailer 12 hours to get to HMT with a larger group of riders you want to enjoy a few days of riding so you need to preserve the machines for that. I guess it’s about finding a balance. I love watching busted knuckles videos too. Been watching for years.
