Driving up Bell Mountain Hiawassee GA 

Home sweet home!!! They blew the top and used to get the rocks from it! The road stopped getting used and grew up and wasn't there and it was a Hell of a hike to get up there so around 40 years ago ppl started spray painting on the rock as a way to show they'd been there! They only redid this road within the past decade! Not much to do growing up so we'd all hike up in high school and camp out and party! Great memories! There's meaning and stories behind the graffiti for us locals!!!! It was there long before tourism!! Now everyone can enjoy the view😁

A nice drive although all those curves were a little hard on my stomach. A beautiful viewpoint at the top and nice aerial views. Interesting to see all the painted rocks. Thank you for sharing.

Fascinating how the higher elevations receive their spring so much later. We were near full leaf in SC by that time but that mountain looks bare. The drone footage is incredible. I wonder why all those trees fell down though.

Went up there today..7/16/20... weather was warm, but the view was Amazing.. love this place.

Oh neat. I love Georgia. I've been to Ellijay. I love it there. Shame about the graffiti on the rocks though. I've never seen the trees like that. I've only been in Summer when everything is lush and green.

Beautiful video and good feel for the drive. But all that graffiti? Shame to ruin nature that way.

They need to clean that place up. Looks like a big heap of trash in the land fill. They can pain over them with color that blend in with the mountain.

I went to that mountain 2 days ago I hate it you have to stop alot for the other car and one car fell off the mountain and I was in my dad's big buff 2017 chevy silverado with kiaks on the back

I wonder if 2.0 engine Rogue sport can work? Only three people without large pakage
