In New Zealand DRL/s by law must totally extinguish themselves (turn -off) when you go to put your main headlights on either low or high beam. Therefore in this particular jurisdiction (NZ) merely having the DRL/s go into dim mode when the main headlights are on is duly deemed not in the best interests of road safety (as well as being illegal) with a battery of glaring lights coming towards you on the open road & considering the sheer brightness of the lights that most modern vehicles are now equipped with!! (yeah right) We've gone from candles to search lights & there is just far too much lighting power emanating from the front of a lot of vehicles these days!! It's good to have some reasonable lighting power by all means to enable one to see the roadway clearly ahead for sheer safety but not at the expense & safety of other road users!!
Did you check how many volts it drop down I’m wondering because on a car that comes with them already I heard that the voltage drop can make your light bulb go out prematurely or take life out of the bulb and burn it up faster?
The answer depends on the combined watts of your two drl. If it is just two led strip lights not longer than 1 feet, then you can power them both using one module. But if your drl is very powerful light with high watts, then when you run both of them through this module, the wires of the module will get hot and may burn
@@cthewave9955 I tapped my Acc/ cigarette lighter fuse for the positive charge! Used metal adjacent to battery for ground! When the car starts the lights come on and off when turned off!
I installed one my car with old car battery but when you start car the light will turn on but i start driving the lights turns off now i bought new battery the problem now is when i shut the car off the light will stay on...weird
Yes its switching off when voltage drops. But its more sound like you have defective module, or adjuted incorretly. I didnt watch inside, maybe theree is somene adjustable resistors to change start and off voltage?
I think Is because test the batery voltage and the batery y full charge over 13 v that de module need to start, so it need to be discharge the batery under 13v to power off
The light will remain on for 15 secs after turning off the engine. This is designed so that you can get out of the car at night and the drl will help you see road for 15 secs.
I would like ask to you that this turn off automaticly the DRL when i turn of thr normal dipped headlight on my car? Because the Hungarian traffic rules say, that the DRL can work ing together only with the position indicator light.
hello.. why engine not started the light on.. procedure 1* red wire with fuse connect to +ve and black wire to -ve 2* red wire to +ve pole of light and black wire to -ve pole of light.. 3* yellow wire to headlight when i do the procedure 1 the light on
