The Iron Brigade have once again defended the superfortress, but now their numbers are dwindling, they will not last against the next attack, luckily The republic has sent the 212 and 501 as reinforcements to help defend the Superfortress
Well I could edit it to say between this battle and the next the droids have launched sieges and that's why they need reinforcements because it's starting to cost them
Not only did the defenders have defender's advantage, the attackers were boxed in by using only the bridge at the beginning and the defenders were able to kill most of the infantry at the start. With the ambushers in the first round, it was basically an entire chokepoint.
This was a great map, and a great battle. Were I defending, I would’ve sent my dead equipment off to the side, creating a false strong point, and an additional ambush/sapping opportunity. Droids are forced to split their troops, and those who survive the ambush during the attack get blown up by the sapper charges. Any survivors of the droid assault have had their fire delayed, increasing the kill time of the clones defending the fort proper.
I don't understand how the 'true' outcome is the first one.... wasn't even a battle... like it wasn't even cause of plot armour, it was a straight war crime..... Also clones never use bazookas, I mean I get it for vids, but not that many in ambush stance against a full tank army. That 'battle' took about 10 minutes, and at least normal ambush battles take 16!
You mean you don't like the outcome where he took personal control of the clones a few different time and single handedly raped more droids at key moments than the A.I. would have been able to do by itself? The silver army men who were In the last surving tank on the map in their video feel the same way after he made them dismount while surrounded by 20 greens when he could have made the 20 greens move instead but you know....gotta skew the results
@@gailfrances1960 No, in the clone wars the droids actually use more. The most we see of the bazookas is used by arc troopers in the 2003 series, but we see regular B1s using bazookas too, and also around 12 sniper rifles. In the 2008 series the droids use them on.... the planet with Cut Lawquane, and also we see commandos with snipers in the same episode. Also we see magnaguards using them in the Grievous Lair episode.
Awesome video as always Daley. I got 2 random ideas for you. 1. Name a bazooka trooper Boomer with that kinda personality becuz it would b so entertaining. 2. If you wanna eliminate troopers getting suppressed during those 1 vs 1000 videos try having them on the high ground (top of a hill) while laying down. It should cut down on both trooper profile and being suppressed.
The second battle AKA the fun one … clones were at a massive disadvantage to the fact that their numbers were less than the first time you should’ve put the ambushers inside the fort like on free roam
You aren’t. The second fight was just a “what if”… like, “What if Rommel had gotten operational control of all German armor in Normandy during the D-day invasion?” Sort of an “Alternate Fictional History”
Lul “maybe the clone defences were a smidge stronger than i expected” Ye a “smidge” stronger. Casually gives the clones 60 or so rockets stationed point blank next to driod transports. .___. I don’t know what he expected to happen but this video shows again that daily has no idea how to balance battles and make them intresting.
The first battle was so dumb. Like seriously, the clones shouldn't of had any bazookas, otherwise they immediately could kill all the droid tanks. Also, hitting an unarmed, unarmoured troop transport does not make you a chad, it makes you a war criminal. As are all the clones who destroyed those troop transports
