We live a short distance from #7 The KEA Mill. Thanks for such great drone footage of places I won't see in person, however I have hiked in to #8 the Bridge to Nowhere but that was 1981. Too old now.
Thank you Bethany and Drew!! I love all your videos showing us the unknow historic and beautiful sites of southern California! Nice touch at the end. Take care and be safe everyone!!
I love this video! The music and the amazing aerial views pulled at my heartstrings. Well done! Thank you for sharing all your explorations of California❤️
Gosh, that was wonderful to watch! It's a reminder of so many interesting, mysterious, and beautiful places you have shown us in the past. Thank you so much, OO!! Love you!
Isn't it interesting what nature and humans have created over the years. Excellent job on providing a interesting perspective we would not see on foot.
Great drone guide! I think I have watched all but one of your videos and plan to visit several this Spring! Great job and I waved back to you! God bless!
This was fantastic!! I got to relive all the places you have taken me in the past, and a few I need to catch up on. Thank you for allowing me to come along on all your adventures.
I grew up in so. Cal, now live in nor cal. Had no idea about any of these places, expect the Sultan sea and the water park. I cannot believe all of this was in my very own back yard. Very cool, gonna have to take a road trip in my own state, a lot to see here. Thank you
Great collection of videos. Proud to say I think I had seen the original episodes of all but one of the selected places. I also enjoyed trying to spot Drew flying the drone! Keep up the excellent work!
Awesome Video. I have visited many of these places and even bungee jumped off the bridge to nowhere. This video brought back many great memories. Thank you both!
Stunning images and music!! Thank you! For the last few weeks I have been down with Covid and and still feeling some of the effects of it so I am still in sick room (not quarantine now but I cant move because of simultaneous leg issues. your videos played a huge part in keeping my sanity; being cooped up in sick room with isolation and then being immobile and with 02 tubes and tanks, etc really took its toll. But your videos were a constant reminder to me that there are still interesting, fascinating and fun things out there and that life is in no way restricted to a single room. Though i am on the mend, it will be awhile before I am fully "operational" so I will keep watching and enjoying. I have always enjoyed your videos, but now, in addition, I *appreciate* them even more! I just want to thank you so very very much for making them and being a huge part of my recovery; I am so very grateful! Thank you!
Ed - We send you good vibes, positive thoughts and much love. So sorry to hear you've been having a rough time, but glad to hear there's some progress in you regaining your health. Hope you get some rest and have a great, healing week ahead!
Awesome drone footage!! I recognized several of the places in the footage as they are places you have already explored. Would be cool to maybe explore some of the other places that you showed in this video. Just a thought. Great video!!
Thank you for making this! I visited the galleta meadows, amboy crater, the musical road, and the Mojave lava tube because you guys inspired me to go there! For video recommendations you guys should visit fossil falls and mine in the sky. Both are on highway 395.
Love it, there are quite a few places you have shown that I have never been to. And it makes me want to get up and go exploring. ♥️ I was so blessed. My dad would take us out 4 wheeling, and we went exploring caverns and deserts and mountains. Hiking places that others have never been.. the memories y'all are making will last you a lifetime. And we are so lucky to get to see some of them with you. Thank you both for sharing. ♥️
What what, another video?? I feel very spoiled lololol totally love it!!!! Clicked on the like button before I even watched the video lol Bethany and Drew, you guys are gems. The ending was terrific by the way lol
One day in this life time I truly hope to go to California! I've made it as far as Arizona and turned around, Wyoming, Montana, Dakota's I found amazing and heavenly! I only can hope to further my travels; Ty for so more inspiration!👍
Terrific idea compiling your drone footage. Cool spots. Here in Palm Springs, old water park too. Soon will be wave pool for surfing. Under construction.
Ohh, I'm not sure if you've already done that, but an in depth video about Venice would be awesome! Its history is so interesting, with that pier that's now gone or the fact that there used to be even more water before it was filled in.
That's awesome! Like an Oddity Odyssey Greatest Hits! I loved seeing the Amboy Crater, that's how I first discovered you two. I was looking up Roy's Cafe on Google Maps and noticed this strange formation in the desert, zoomed in closer and found out it was the crater. I then looked up the crater and found your video, I've been a fan since! I've made my own video of the crater but, unfortunately no drone footage, it was just way, way too windy that day. I'm going back though! Great work guys! Always looking forward to the next video!
Hey Bruce - We're so glad! Love sharing these spots and hearing your insight. We're releasing a new video this Saturday that will highlight some of our future episodes and hope to see you there. :)
Thanks to your video from last week, I went to Desert Christ Park yesterday. It was very peaceful and such a beautiful small park. Thank you for making these videos that give people insight on what lies in their own backyard. It was fun and something I would have never known about without your videos. Great job guys.
Beautiful video on so many levels. RockAhula might re-emerge as a off road are but still have lazy River. Rumor has it ground breaking...lol again....today
I’m from Georgia and I have have been to Salvation Mountain, Galleta Meadows, Amboy Crater , and the Salton Sea. I would love to see drone footage of so many places in this beautiful state! Alabama Hills, in Lone Pine….Bristle Cone Pine Forest up near Bishop, any location in Death Valley….Thank Y’all so much for this ….loved it!
Fantastic stuff! Slightly surprised you didn't include the giant boulder at Joshua Tree (or the cool Nicola Tesla dome structure also in that area). I'm a lifelong fan of Vasquez Rocks (I've hiked a _lot_ up there back when I had access to a car), and I'm _very_ impressed with the footage you got there ..
Thank you for watching! This is a compilation from places we've filmed episodes on and haven't had a chance to check out the Giant Rock in Joshua Tree yet. On the list for sure! :)
I hiked to that Showmaker Tunnel probably sometime around 2003 with a few people. I used to have a picture of me setting on the time of the last tunnel, that backside of it where the road ends. Unfortunately we saw some ticks on us and got out of there quickly. But it was a nice day hike out there. Also Bridge to Nowhere is out there as well.
Nice video! A great compilation to highlight some of the interesting places you have explored and introduced to us. Are they in order of your favorites?
Thankyou. And you were limited to just places where you could fly a drone for this video. F anyone who doesn't appreciate California. It's our coolest state by far, no place else even comes close.
Great video! Your content echoes a lot of similarities of what I've been researching and producing so I appreciate the inspiration. I'm a city planner by trade so this type of content naturally appeals to me. It's exciting to see new uploads from you!
great video. I have been to a couple of them but I live literally 3 miles from the chatsworth missile site and grew up in the west SFV and never knew it was there. My wife bungee jumped off the bridge to nowhere.. Video absolutely makes me want to explore the rest! Thanks.
rock a hoola and big horn mine will always be favorite spots and i'm waiting for the snow to go away so i can make it back to the mine and for a friend group to go to rock a hoola again (regardless of the no tresspassing signs) and just vibe and drink beer alll day! last time i went was the fourth of july 2021 and we shot fireworks in one of the toilet seats i stole! it's still in my car trunk to this day until the park is officially sold or some shit. loved this so much! and can't wait to take my gf to the sunken city. been there once but it was sooo windy!
