in this video we see the old #lava , south side of fagradalsfjall #volcano and the walking path witch going to fagradalsfjall and meradalir volcano music , Scott Buckley www.scottbuckley.com.au/library
I have watched hundreds of videos and spent months on live streams, yet this footage and music showing the sheer enormity of the lava fields in comparison to the ant like people drawn to the place reduced me to tears.
Interesting to see the difference in the Natthagi Valley. I remember watching videos as the lava moved in. This was more stark because you see it empty and full back to back. Great footage!
From 1:45 very nice overview of the viewpoints from last year, I was only on path C to Stóri Hrútur. The road to the new eruption seems longer, but not necessarily more difficult.
Wonderful footage! And yes, it gives some sense of scale, which is the main thing I regret about not visiting it, amongst other aspects. (I get knee pain)
At the start if the video you see something that looks like a barrier or wall (with the trail at the bottom of it); it certainly appears to have functioned like one, as on the right side there is lava, but none on the left -- is that natural or was it constructed? -- nice video that gives a good perspective and idea of the scale/size of the lava field
