Night flying can be easy & fun for both recreational and Part 107 flights with the super bright and lightweight (less than 6 grams) VIFLY Strobe! Make sure to check out my site at tmacfpv.com/
Really cool video yes I remember when I lost my first kwad oh my God I felt so bad because it was my first and the electronics are not so ship this kwads are expensive anyways since then I haven't lost any more of my drones because I did listen to u and now that's all I get the Vifly buzzer and led together.
I keep all my lights flashing here in the uk. My anti collision and navigation lights all flash slowly at 5+ mile range I think pilots are better able to see flashing lights more than solid lights so I keep even my red and green flashing
Where did you get the light sensor thing? What is it called? I would love to get one! Cheers from Louisville! Great and straight to the point video. You have a radio voice for sure!
G'day ArielMotionCreations! Great to hear from you! Its called a Digital Lux Meter. I got mine on Amazon. Here's a link (affiliate-no additional cost to you) to the one I have amzn.to/3QfUCqg
@@TMacFPV awesome thanks for the quick reply! I must get one. Have bought many items over the years where the claimed “lumens” have been false. Did not know this was even a thing! Awesome to know, have one ordered now! Also so so cool to see older generation flying fpv! Totally cool! Coming from a 30yr old!
Liking the vi-fly stuff..their little finder buzzer is pretty much my beeper of choice.. As far as the FAA is concerned every quad I own is sub 250 grams...they should stick to keeping our passenger craft safe...oops !! NVM.. Maybe that's why they're picking on our toys..to distract from their horrible inefficiency elsewhere...lol..or their pockets are being stuffed...
The lights CAN be placed anywhere. Only FAA requirement is they need to be visible for 3 miles. If they are to be visible above the drone (from other aircraft), makes sense that at least one light is on top facing up. Sound right?
@TRITON FPV see link above for Operations of Unmanned Aircraft Over People (night flight section of it). It lists all of the requirements. I do not believe in this video I stated there were any color requirements
107 pilot's formed a gang. Use there knowledge of Rules to bully new small channels. Turning them into FAA who fines them. Gang called FPV family.. The 250 gram rule was 50lbs soon be a gram lol hobby dieing because of Rules. Views down..sales down.. as they say Numbers don't lie... I love hobby.. but numbers don't lie. Listen to your video? It would scare off any new pilot's.. parents don't want to mess with rules too. Won't allow kids to get..always good to fallow kings rule's. Or his guard's come.. lol
