Let me rephrase that. My heartfelt thoughts that have a magical way of manifesting in the real world goes out to the victims. I don’t know how it works, but it does. That aside, the magnitude of this disaster is hard to believe. 11 thousand dead & 10 thousand still missing.

The saddest thing is seeing all the pain and suffering these people have been enduring for so many years on top of everything else. Terrible but pay attention to the drone footage. This city was built on a river channel and delta to the Mediterranean. For goodness sake its no wonder this flood killed to many. This city wasnt planned for an heavy rainfall and this was 100% preventable via better planning. Dont build in a river channel even in the Sahara. Still i feel for those folks.

This is infrastructure failure because no money has been put into fixing their housing and roads and bridges and especially the dams for so many years! horrible images. As if an atomic bomb had been dropped, or worse. Thousands of people disappeared in an instant, tens of thousands are missing. There were bodies all the way to the land of different countries in the Mediterranean. Many of the bodies have been eaten, maybe even eaten by the copepods. I am 45 years old and after the Japanese Tsunami and the terrible earthquake in Turkey this year, this is the most horrible sight I have ever seen. God help the survivors :( pray for Lıbya
